This thread was sure busy today!! So many new people (well to this thread) I am not even going to try to say all your names so

Hi ya tyme!! Happy Day.

I know, I branched out and invited lots and lots of people! I am somewhat surprised at the sucess I was able to achieve.

As a single parent raising two kids, I know that feeling all to well.

I can completely relate! I have two kiddies myself, and am quite single. Although I am wavering on the last thing there. I have really learned though, that ME time is very important. It helps you be a better parent, and reduces one's stress level incredibly. (Until you get the bill that is. lol).

Now I incorporate alone time at the spa occasionally into my schedule. Alone time with only adults. Etc.

Sometimes, I really miss the spontaneity of being alone. Being able to do whatever, whenever. Now everything has to be planned, and planned well.

Hi ya Night. Seger is great road music. Although, I tend to be quite satisified with whatever tune is playing on any random radio station. Feel free to stop in whenever you want.

I'm very picky about what I drive to. There is one station here in my area, called WPDH they are a classic rock station. They are awesome. Very few commercials, and they play lots and lots and lots of great stuff. They play lots of Seger, Skynyrd, Allmans, Zeppelin, AC/DC, ZZ Top (their playing ZZ Top as I post this), and so many others. They play 50 mins of music per hour. No short changing at all. One of their DJ's is Dee Snider, who used to be lead singer of the band Twisted Sister.

I like mostly southern rock, and classic rock, country, blues, some classical. But if I'm driving, it has to have a great beat, and it has to keep me pumping. Make me and my rig feel like one, and just hammer down, and ride on air.



And thanks, I'll be here often.

Sounds like a great radio station Night! I am pretty much content to sing along to whatever happens to be playing. I like all music, and can't really say as I have a favorite. Crikes, I will even hum along to polka. lol

My grandfather was a truck driver. Occasionally he would sneak me along with him on the road. I have very fond memories of that time. I remember when I was a very little girl, I wanted to grow up to be a truck driver. Now that I am all grown up, nuh uh.. I don't even like to drive vans. lol Too big... oh, and I am somewhat clumsy.
