well GG, you got me all worked up for dinner now.........the fresh pasta reminded me of a number of years ago.......I just had to get myself a machine.......used it pretty regularly for a couple of months maybe.......then it seemed I got over that........fortunately there is a small italian shop near me that makes it's own pastas daily......it is a fun exercise to make it from scratch..........

Hey GB, I have one of those pasta makers but opt to do it completely by hand. I use the 4ft x 4ft cutting board my Italian Grandmother gave me before she died along with her 4ft long rolling pin. I just can't bring myself to use a machine.......

CC, it takes about 2 hours to mix and roll out a batch of pasta. Then, it takes a day to let it dry. But, like GB said, it is well worth the wait.

9 more days GB and I'll be down there. I'll be fishing Lake Perris and possibly Lake Poway and Dixon while I'm down there. It'll be nice to thaw out for a couple weeks!!!
