I'll do the dishes and cook. I always do dishes while I prepare food. I can't stand a dirty kitchen.

How to promote huh? Well, why don;t you get a big banner and start parading around on all the lit posts soliciting this thread? If that doesn't work, we may have to do more drastic things.......

Okay, I have pasta I made last night drying on the rack, some dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts...............there's the garlic......Oh, wait, one yellow onion..........Extra Virgin Olive oil......oregano......over to the window sill to get some fresh basil......salt......

what am I missing....tap tap tap........

The black olives....

Okay, olive oil in the pan to cover the bottom, add chopped garlic and chopped onion to simmer till clear......add a dash of oregano.....(dang eyes are tearing)......add the dried tomatoes so they soak up the oil and get soft....where's my wine???

Now, a dash of Chardonay and add the artichoke hearts, olives, and a bit of fresh basiland now we get to let it simmer for about a half an hour.........

So, whatcha wanna talk about while we're waiting on the sauce RosyLady?

Red leaf letuce, arugula, red radishes, cucumbers.....(anyone need to borrow one of these?), and some red cabbage......

Now, get some garlic salt and add some Balsamic vinegar and a bit of olive oil for a dressing.........

put the oven on 450, slice the Italian bread length wise and spread a good amount of butter down it, add chopped garlic and roll up in some aluminum foil and place it in the oven.......

Smells good in here

Noodles

Okay, the water is boiling. Add the noodles and let them cook for a couple minutes. Get the collander and put it in the sink...........


noodles in the collander, rinse with cold water, and place in a pasta bowl, take the sauce and put it over the noodles, out to the table.......

Get salad, garlic bread and bottle of wine and take to the table....

Okay there's enough for everyone. Sit down and start while I go and shred some freash parmesian cheese......
