The subject is kind of misleading on this one. I'm not looking for stories on "Boy" bands necessarily, I'm wondering if anyone has seen or written a story about a group of young adults who form a band and their adventures as they move from playing weddings and bar mitzvahs to playing bars to getting a record contract and then making millions.
I personally have NO idea about how to play instruments or write a song or anything like that. I've WANTED to write a story like this for a while now but I lack almost every talent that would be needed for it.
If you really wanted to impress and if you have talent, you could write a few songs for this band and put them into the story. Maybe at the top of each chapter or something. It would obviously have to be an on going novel. To much to cover in one writing.
Think of a Fleetwood Mac type group. Variety of people, different backgrounds , and they come together to form this incredible band. Sex would be EASILY written into the story. Sex between bandmembers. A record company rep telling one of the bandmembers that he/she could make them big for a price.
And there's always the groupies.
