I heard that also.Supposedly boxers allow your "balls" to stay futher away from the body,preventing them from over heating and killing some of the lil troopers.
This is what I have heard it might be true,or it might not.Anyone else got a theory?

It is factual. The optimum temperature for the testicles to produce sperm is about 91°F. The scrotum relaxes and retracts with variations in temperature attempting to maintain this optimum temperature allowing the testicles to move away from the body to cool or draw nearer for warmth depending on the surrounding air temperature.

Wearing briefs draws the testicles up against the body raising their temperature nearer the normal 98.6°F and the result is a lower sperm count.

Honestly, I do wear both (not at the same time). Somedays the extra security of briefs feels good, especially if I've been able to convince my wife to play in the morning. But on other days the freedom of boxers is appreciated.

I must agree with Rasputin, if you're doing something active, you've got to have more support than boxers provide. Usually, I end up wearing lycra shorts underneath my gym shorts for this.

I hadn't thought about people looking at me and fantasizing about my choice of underwear Alan, it's a good point. Might make me feel different in front of my classes now.....lol
