bowls

A well shaped bowl brings surprisingly intense satisfaction. Without meaning to stretch the parody but with absolute sincerity, the same can be said for jugs: a well shaped jug is just something hard not to buy and bring home.

I would like very much to have beautiful mugs too, but they are victim to breakage very easily and it seems silly to become emotionally invested in them. I still have my first drink of the day from a childhood mug though 😳.

I disagree, but only on skill level. Dont ask about my music collection, but if I had money, um, yeah, pottery, hand turned legs, making one off tables. If the money was free flowing I'd patron musical artists, as well as any other degree of brilliance I saw or knew about. Essentially if I was loaded, I'd make sure I'd have enough to survive on, past that, help awesomeness spread their wings.

Nevermind, I completely fucked up both posts.

Mostly cause I freaked someone out the other day. Seen Bjorks Violently happy MTV unplugged? The whole thing is more than worthy.
I had a client bring 3 of them in to place under meditation narration recently. She wants to come back with her full collection of 30 and record those too.

Singing bowls seem more collection friendly than lots of other instruments. I write a cross poem once about the double bass. I love it, but it doesn't make house work ease and it it's case it's hideous.

*Chuckle*

I'm of a belief that ALL instruments are collectible, if they get use. Hell, I'm a percussionist and I own 6 or 7 guitars, and 5 keyboard instruments.

I'm jonsing for a new cymbal or two...
