I'm starting to get excited. The movie being released soon. :nana:

I think Matt Damon came of age as an actor (and man) with the bourne identity.

My blurt of the day.

I'm probably going to see it later in the week. It is out now, right?

August 3 here in Canada.

I did enjoy the first two, wishful. I thought them much more restrained than the Bond flick so didn't lapse into the silliness that the Bond flicks often do.

I don't mind the bond films. I think of the last couple of pierce brosnan ones, I didn't see. This was because it didn't appeal - he was too smooth, too special effecty. The most recent one, I was very impressed with. I felt it brought bond into the next century. I liked that it didn't rely on special effects, was grisly (I hate torture scenes, and it was only bearable because he was naked ;) ). But what I liked most was, instead of some hot chick getting out of the water all dripping wet, it was bond who got out - finally a bond film for chicks!

I rather liked the last Bond flick as well. Did miss the chick getting wet though. ;)

Eva Green was soooo yummy though.

And Joan Allen made a certain piece of my anatomy throb. I love smart, tough older women.

Given a choice between Vesper Lynd and Pamela Landy, it would be Ms. Landy every time. http://bestsmileys.com/drooling/3.gif

tough women in a movie are great in general, whether young or old. I think there has been a trend in recent years to kill of strong female characters. eg electra in daredevil (although she lived to do another movie). I did like in mi3 (boo tom, but like the mission impossible theme), where at the end I think he gets knocked unconscious and the chick saves the day and tom.

Night Rob, past my bedtime and yukky work tomorrow :rose:
