Bounty Hunter Rescue(Closed)

For almost a week now Dante has been tracking his current bounty but kept coming up with dead ends. It seemed his luck was turning though, after a solid lead he picked up at some cantina filled with low lifes and criminals he was on the hunt. The lead brought him to the supposed hideout of his target. He had a jacket on concealing his two handguns.

After scouting out the place for a couple of hours he spotted his target entering the building. 'Finally' he thought to himself as he moved in on the building. This bounty took him a little longer than expected but at least he got them and would get his paycheck now. Before he barged in he grabbed his gun and turned the safety off and made sure there was one in the barrel.

He kicked down the door and made his way into the building when he spotted his target. "Freeze! Don't move!" He shouted out as he aimed his gun at the man. Reaching behind him he pulled a pair of hand cuffs off his belt and tossed them at the mans feet. "Put these on"

Then he heard a noise in the corner and pulled out his other gun pointing it at the girl that was there. Although she wasn't all girl she seemed to be some sort of alien. Real quick he grabbed another pair of cuffs and tossed them over at the girl "You too, put them on. You two are coming with me."

Taja whispered as her "Protector" walked back in.

There are people near... they found us.

Well then hide and if I find you led them here while I was gone. He growled.

She moved quickly to the corner trying to huddle down before the door was knocked open. Only one walked in but she sensed there were at least two others... perhaps his back up. NO matter she had been so brainwashed to believe that anyone outside of her protector would try to harm or kill her or worse.

Luc was outside with Percy. Percy had faith in her uncle that he was not going to fall into the belief that the girl they were told was part of the bounty was some innocent. Percy also was grossed out by the potential of having to hand any woman over to the likes of Rudolpho but he did pay the best out of the other people they have taken bounties from.

Luc knew that Dante well enough to know he could tell the girl was not "pure Raider" so therefore a kidnap long ago just like his son. This could get dangerous quick especially if the girl was what she looked like. She would be able to find out if the girl was Murolei with a "routine quarantine and medical exam".

Taja whimpered as the cuffs got thrown at her. her eyes locked for a moment with the human before her as her head tilted... He did not believe she was guilty... evil. He wanted to think she was... in danger? He could help her... He could get her away from Raiders and the one that claims to protect her.

Once they both did as he said and put the cuffs on he went right over to his main target and held the gun to his back. He then looked over to the girl and instantly thought how attractive she was. "Come on you too" Dante said softly as he pushed the male forward out the door and they headed towards the ship. Once they were on board he had them sit down and he attached the shackles to the cuffs keeping them connected to the floor of the ship. He also kept them separated to keep them from talking. The male in the back and the female closer to the front of the ship.

Sitting in the pilot's seat and radioed Luc. "Come in Luc, I have the target and am now heading back to base. Do you copy?" Once Luc responded he turned the ship on and headed for their base. "So what's your name? How did you get caught up with that scumbag?" Dante asked knowing that she was not with him by choice.

Luc and Percy were back on the ship when he walked in with them. Luc was less annoyed than Percy that he called the planet their employer called him as base. She could not stand Rudolpho and while she just like the other two was less than comfortable turning the young girl over to Rudolpho she also had to make sure that Dante did not fell under whatever mind control powers the girl may or may not have. He had a hero complex and given the right pretty face he would cave and that nearly got them all killed before.

Taja bit her lip and stared at them before finally speaking softly clearly trying to mask an accent as she spoke slowly

Luc looked at her for a long moment then spoke trying to make the girl speak again. Luc had been with Orchard her fathers genetics corp as a linguist and Security Commander before breaking out and signing on with Dante... she was sure that this girl was a Murolei but she had to hear her speak again to be sure.

Taja shook her head.

I see Luc lifted a brow and typed something into the computer before her as the AI popped to live and floated before their guest.

Greetings I am Carvagio and I will be conducting a medical scan to make sure that you are well Miss... this will not hurt at all and will be over in just a moment or two.

Carvagio appeared to be the upper half of an elderly male old earth butler. The ship had originally been a luxury cruiser before the war with the Raiders.

While Luc spoke to Taja, Dante had trouble keeping his eyes off of her. She was definitely the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. He thought to himself that there is no way this girl was a raider, she had been forced into it and wanted nothing to do with them. Everyone else might not think or believe it but he did for sure.

Luc studied the screen and groaned a little as Carvagio confirmed her suspicions. Raiders had a viable cluster strain and were testing it and she was living proof. She looked over to Dante with a fairly militant look

Dante... find out who offered Rudolpho the bounty to get these two... Recommend he be completely honest or I will get Orchard involved and we both know he doesn't want that.

She passed the information of the girl being a genetically altered Murolei. Rare race nearly wiped out and well known for unique powers as prowess. Murolei had been nealy "harvested/hunted" to extinction due to those powers as well as the women for other reasons. The Raiders would be more interested in the powers and adding immediate bodies to their numbers not necessarily breeding. But they would want to hide the very tell tale appearance and having an active cluster strain they could have countless Murolei or even half Murolei.

Dante got the info Luc wanted and relayed it to him. He still couldn't believe they came across a murolei after he thought they were completely extinct. He wasn't sure if she was using her powers on him but Dante found himself extremely attracted to her. He wondered what was going to happen next.

Rudolpho was very nervous about Luc getting Orchard involved and told Dante that the primary target was the man with the girl and how he was told she might be with him and if Dante was willing to take a "Little cut in pay" he would not expect the girl to be delivered. Rudolpho clearly did not want to deal with Luc nor Orchard so he would pass up on the girl for now rather than tell them the full truth.

Luc listened and shook her head with a snarl causing Taja to jump and try to move closer to Dante biting her lip. She almost seemed to try to ball up and hide from all of them. Clearly skittish about nearly everything.

What does the man mean he will not expect me? What will happen to him?
