Boston Suspects.

One dead, one on the run in Boston. Developing.

I was thinking the thread title meant like the entire city of Boston suspected something. Please be more clear in the future or you will be banned.

at least our news coverage is (apparently) keeping an even keel over this now, like not naming the names as it's not known if they're genuine - whether russian-sounding (chechnian links) or the american student ones they also have under scrutiny.

the positive about plastering their faces all over the place is that anyone who knows them will be able to come forward with information swiftly.

the whole lock-down of a town thing was surprising to me, only because it's not a thing i've heard of before. must be pretty scary stuff for the residents. how about those bullet holes in the guy's furniture and calendar?

This is so crazy to wake up to. I've not heard of a lock-down of a town either. It's a good idea, though.

It did not take long to find the 2 guys, brothers so ive been told

if they're brothers, they look very very different - not that means much. as our news coverage has pointed out, though, there has been so much wrong information put out there since the bombing that all care must be taken to sieve the sources for true facts.

2 fucking Russian Muslims living in the freedom of Cambridge . I'm wondering if there neighbors like sen Warren will hold a vigil for them to be free'd.

They are suspect, perhaps not of the bombing - but if they hadn't built a city there, there would have been no bombing so their guilt is by Lit standards, apparent.

How do you know they're Muslims, retardo boy?

Google must be overloaded with a couple of hundred million yanks looking up where Chechnya and Kyrgyzstan are.

did you hear anything about them being brothers? nothing on the coverage i've seen, and they don't look at all alike. still, speculation's rife - as we're seeing in the other boston threads

They just interviewed a girl who was in 6th grade with the brothers so I am not sure that the early reports about them coming here from Chechnya and Kyrgyzstan and being trained rebels are at all accurate. They went to Cambridge Latin (local charter school). So if that is true these guys are home grown fucking assholes.

For the record: The news media sucks. Be journalists FFS!!

i keep hearing they've been here ten years and they're 19/20 so both could be true. who the fuck knows though? it's too early.

The BBC has them as brothers, Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev.

did their dad have a bike? oh well, they don't look related but that doesn't mean a thing, does it? and when did the beeb release the names? i was watching all morning (sky and beeb) and the names weren't being given out.

glad the girl's come forward. should get some clarification.

home-grown or foreign, still fucking arsehole bastard murderers

CNN has them as brothers as well. The older one, Tamerlan, 26, is the one that's dead. Dzhokhar, 19, is at large and considered 'armed and dangerous'.

I think they're going for a 'capture alive' scenario, although I don't think that guy is going to make it easy for them.

Amazing how the authorities were able to move on them so fast. Those guys didn't waste any time tracking these two clowns down.

All these idiots wetting their pants and screaming, "OMG they're Muslims!!! OMG they're Ruskies!!!! Commies!!! Muslims!!!! Al Quaida!!!!! Tally ban!!!"

A friend of the 19 year old one said he's been here 10 years and they went to school together...

"OMG they're Bostonians!!!!!!!!!"

"OMG they probably get welfare!!!! Socialists!!!!"

Time for a lit break as I feel the stupid infecting me.

They shot a cop at MIT. The cops aren't exactly going to ignore that.

this lock-down of a town - is it something any of you americans have seen before? seems to make sense if only by keeping people off the street so as not to obstruct police vehicles. the shutting down of the trains and businesses - if something so unexpected - would also prove very problematic for the runner.
