Boss button / Panic button

This board needs a panic button (boss button). I mean my wife just walked up behind me and I had to very quickly find another page to look at. Not that I am ashamed of being on this board. But certain threads are worse than others. And when reading those, I would just as soon not have her standing there reading over my shoulder.

I know what you mean. Since moving to Spain, I´ve had to use internet cafes, because phone lines don´t exist in most houses in my region (we´re a little behind the times here). Although I doubt most people in the cafe can read English, pictures of porn are universal. Ugh.

For me its if a child decides to stroll through here. Thats not the education I want to give them ya know.

I always have a generic site open in a window behind the one I am using. And arrange the windows so they overlap and I can click on the top or corner of the "safe" page in an instant, that puts the "fun" page I am looking at behind the safe page and I can change back when prying eyes or little tykes have gone away.

Right next to the start button in Win98/SE/ME/2000/XP is a small icon...click it and see what happens, all active windows minimize..its called Show Desktop...click it and see....

The little blue one next to Internet Explorer.

Uhhh, go into your user control panel and turn off the avatars.

And then there's the little square button with the horizontal line.

Turn off the signatures too. Most of them are drivel, especially p_p_man's current sig line.

I usually hit the "Home" button in my browser, then when the coast is clear, just click on "back"

Some very good ideas, some I even know. The big problem is I am very hard of hearing, need hearing aids. So 'sneaking' up behind me is not hard to do. Service connected disability. Too many jets and other loud noises.

Plus I tend to panic when it comes to my wife. I can't remember what the fuck to do when she 'catches' me at something. I am worse than the kids when they are caught.

When I'm in Tn and have the problem of little eyes, Granny, and my Mom I always turn off av's, sig lines, and images. Just those changes make the BB look like any other BB. If they get close enough to actually read, I have something else ready in another window. Of course, it depends on the thread whether I change at all.

LOL! This really got to me. I haven't been able to stop laughing since I read these humorous lines. We were born to be this way - all wives and mothers are the same. It's just how God made us. I can tell in less than a blink of an eye when my son is fibbing just a bit. What really frightens him is when I already have the answer to his question before he asks it.

I, like you, sometimes have to quickly depart Literotica because of the eyes of a 13 year old boy. Now, what kind of a mother would I be if I allowed him to see what I'm reading in my spare time?
