Maybe do something like writing on the side and start a sort of passion project to start getting published. If it does well enough then you can quit teaching.

My Father wanted me to be the next Parish Priest when I finished HS. I said, Look Dad, I love women and sex too much. Go figure I rose up to become a Catholic Minister in the church. Dad got his wish

I certainly try to, Ive been working on this one piece for awhile now and plan to get back to it soon but reading has been taking up my time. Plus writers block has struck so Im just trying to get things back in order

I get that sometimes when I am in the midst of writing programs. It does strain the mind sometimes. Especially when your task at hand is always do the clients bidding and make them happy.

Thats the point. Use the song youre listening to as a sort of muse to write. Im currently listening to "Then" by Brad Paisley and already my muse is coming back
