The shoe that broke, believe it or not, was a flat! What happened is the shoe had this decoration on it, that was like, a strap across the top held on with a big fake button. And the button came off, so then this strap with this big heavy button was flapping everywhere, and it made it impossible to walk. I was tripping everywhere.

Stupid shoe.

you could get flip flops. at least if the weather is good you have more cheap choices.

I never wear flip flops outside (except maybe on the beach), because 1) I hate my toes and 2) they make my feet feel filthy and gross.

Well next time, hopefully I'll have the resources available to me to fix my own shoe. Unfortunately, the last time, I didn't have those resources. Things tend to get more difficult while traveling.
