I know what I'd be doing there, and being bored online ain't it!
1) you wouldn't have a broken shoe.
2) I don't want to fuck traffiked sex workers.
sex workers? I'd be at the hash bars, silly.
You called for entertainment? All I can do is long distance entertainment...or try to hook you up with my Dutch friend (and her bf?)1) you wouldn't have a broken shoe.

you lost yer bone for hookers then? I actually saw a nice looking coffee shop, but the idea of trying to get back to the hotel on a broken heel and with icy paths dissuaded me. Plus I don't much like getting stoned on my own. I get super horny and as there is no one here I can fuck....

Do they not have a concierge at your hotel?
and anyway, I'm crushing on this sleb and an academic.
A concierge could fix your shoe.
Once your shoe was fixed, you could put on a slinky number and sit in the hotel bar, waiting for an international assassin to buy you a drink...
I asked already and they looked blank. there are no international assassins. just trendy japanese kids and idiots like me.
Some hotelIncompetent concierge and backpackers.
some hotel indeed.. it sucks. but the bed and shower are lovely
The room looks nice. Cute and compact. And the bed looks big enough for some... Extracurricular activities.
Ask the conceirge to find you a shoe store that delivers same day?
the room is nice, but I'm out first thing tomorrow morning (not that I have the dosh for a concierge to buy in shoes for me!) will get a pair of new ones in londong if I can't get them fixed
If I was stuck in Amsterdam with nothing to do, I'd buy some space cake and walk around, or go see a movie. There's a gorgeous old art deco movie palace there.
I mean, that's pretty much what I did the whole time I was there when I visited. The postcards I wrote home are hysterical.
Who's got a long dong?
my shoes are bust. there is about 6 inches of snow on the ground and I'm in the sticks. and on my own. If I could walk without falling over I'd be ok, but I can't.
Taxi? Taxi to a shoe repair place?
asked in the hotel. they couldn't tell me of one. doubt anywhere will be open tomorrow so I'll hobble to brussels and then to my friends in london and buy a new pair on monday. can't believe I was so dumb to only bring one pair.
Yeah, that sucks.
When I went on my month long European jaunt a couple of summers ago, one of my shoes broke IN THE AIRPORT before I even got on the plane. Of course I had already checked my bag, so I couldn't switch shoes. After we arrived, I wasn't able to repair my shoe for like, a week and a half, so I was stuck wearing my over-warm boots. It was a bummer.
You ladies wear heeled shoes when you're traveling?
Trust in fate, why not!
