Jeeeeeeeezzze I am so bored here (have been for weeks) I looked up a saved thread. For those who missed it, have a larf or two.

Perdita

Durt ;) :p

Bloody hell, where did that (almost a) year go?

My life is slipping away...

;)

Thanks for bringing back some laughs, P. :D

Lou

Wow P., I was hoping to lure you into the "travel essay" thread so I could hear you write about Venice.

Would that help with the boredom?

Hmm yes I keep checking the boards but cant find anything inspiring to post to

Almost ready for hibernation

Personally, I just don't get how any of you get bored - the word is beyond my understanding, nonetheless, if the threads are so dull, has no one considered starting an interesting one? Or is that too 'boring' as well?

Charlus, I am rarely bored outside the AH. I check in (lurk) but find little of interest.

Mack, I've written of Venice in several threads, and in one story. I don't want to repeat myself.

Rhino, I don't like talking to myself, not online anyway.

over and out, Perdita :)

Perdita,

Since I first arrived here several posters mentioned missing MathGirl and so I searched back amongst the threads to see what I had missed. A couple of the threads that I found especially tickled my sense of humor.

Two of my favorite threads are both informative and entertaining.

Morris Dancing

Garderobes

The third thread is merely silly and fun.

TVSCs

Somehow I missed the thread that you posted. Can you recall any others?

How about turning this into a “Best of AH” thread?

Right, nevermind that there are newer people here who've never heard the stories, myself included. Sure, I could do a search for previous threads, but that would be like interacting with a mannequin.

Bad form P., I'm disappointed in you, even though I understand your disappointment with the AH lately.

You make a point, Mack, even at my expense. However I appear at times, I am humble (even diffident) about my work and my self. I personally do not want to bore people, or be the old gal who keeps telling the same story.

Now I feel very ambivalent, but will take time to think. P.

You never bore me, and your piece was ... amazing. I felt as if I walked with you, reliving the bits and pieces of the Europe I remember and combining them with your remembrances.

Thank you, Dear One.
