I'm the polar opposite of a big jock, but I do find that when I'm feeling really bored and stagnant, it makes a huge difference to go do something physical, like go for a hike or play an outdoor game or take a bike ride. Something about getting the blood circulating helps.

You can do whatever I do when I am alone. BLAST your favorite music. Dance around, call up a girlfriend and have her come over for margaritas. Take a bubble bath, with your friend if your adventurous! After go to the video store and rent a movie that is too adult for the kids, and too girly for the husband! Go shopping, act like you are the only person of the face of the earth! ENJOY!
