Bootblack - Bootblacking

I was collared recently and my Daddy's female slave has been talking to me some about Bootblack. Hell, she even did my boots for me though I think making them look nice is beyond anyone's skill at this point lol. And um... she laced my boots correctly... For those of you that don't know, the way your boots are laced actually mean different things.

Anyways, this is one of the things that I will be learning about.

Well, there are two diffent ways that your boot lacing can mean something.

The first way is the way that they are laced. If they are laced from the bottom and up through the holes you are marking yourself as a bottom. If they are laced through the top and down then that signifies Top.

The coloring can also convey things, kind of like the hanky code that gay men use. Red would be fisting, yellow would be enema and watersports, grey is bondage, blue is fucking, and black can mean nothing at all or that you don't want to disclose.

You are most welcome. Most of the information you find on bootblacking will be about technique, which of course would be the actual shining. If not that, then the information would probably be about what bootblacking means to them. The links on Bootdog's page are for some of the top boobblackers in the country.

Don't think I'll ever put time into mirror-shining a pair of boots ever again (did that too much in the military) but I must admit, there's something extra spiffy about slipping into a glossy pair of boots.


Dusty- about the top to bottom lacing- wouldn't that leave one with a tripping hazard from the laces being near the toe along with it being difficult to tighten them?
I mean, I only loosen my knee high boots enough to get in and out of them, but if laced from the top down it'd require me pulling extra lace from the bottom to the top and reversing that when I put them back on. Sounds like a lot of work.

You know that first set of holes in the boot? Well in the case it it would be going over the sides of the whole and be on top. If you were lacing from the bottom that straight line of lace would be under the two holes. Does that make better sense?

LOL probably the same people that implemented Old Guard into the BDSM community. I'm not positive on this so don't quote me, but I would hazard to guess that the gay leather community has a great deal to do with all of this.

I'm glad my explanation was helpful, just keep in mind that I'm pretty new to this and most of what I know has come from lots of reading. I've not gotten into bootblacking yet, just had my boots blacked. Soon I will be taught the proper bootblacking techniques which will be passed on to my girl as well. (It's handy being a Switch at times )

I'm not entirely sure what a bootdog is, but from the way he writes in his site I would guess that it has something to do with Puppy Play? I really don't know for sure. And before you ask what puppy play is... Puppy Play: Sub is made to act like a puppy. Sub barks, whines, eats from a bowl, etc. Such play is almost never sexual, but rather focuses on the altered mind-space of bottom/pup.

There is indeed power exchange involved with bootblacking. The submissive blacks the boots belonging to their Dominant half out of adoration. The Top might also force the bottom to black his boots.... Bootblacking is a very service oriented skill. You do it out of service to your Dominant, to your community (like for fundraisers), and for yourself as well.

I have memories of Sunday nights before bed, cleaning all 9 family members shoes for school/work on monday. I have on occasions, cleaned my Dom's shoes, but he's never had them on him, perhaps i should revisit
