Many possibilities it seems...

1) Mom is writing a story where 2 young characters and in love and have sex. The mother asks her son lots of questions about teen sex these days, but he is quite uncomfortable with the situation.

1A) He is a virgin and doesn't want to confess he doesn't know much about teen sex. In talking about the characters in the story, he becomes noticeably aroused. The mom, thinking more about her characters, decides to be his first.

1B) He is a "stud" or a playa and has had sex with a number of different girls, going into details. The mother is a bit astounded and starts to become a bit aroused herself, wondering how big his cock his, how he is as a lover, etc.

2) When the mother is working on a story, she locks herself up for months, rarely going out. The son brings her meals and coffee once in a while, giving her a shoulder rub. What if Mom's a romance writer and wants to run ideas by her son which get him all worked up? She teases him to see how he'll react in the name of "research" and one thing leads to another... The trick is to make it a gradual build, start with small things and escalate. The son can be stupid at first but then start being sneaky and getting more out of Mom's advances as she gets into it. Not a bad premise if you avoid just jumping to the sex, IMO.
