I missed my deadline, but my heart is too torn right now to care a huge amount. The painting is starting to come together and a very dear friend is driving me south tomorrow so i can be with my mother for her final days in this life.
She is pencil and oil on wood panel. Her ear and hair are incomplete, but i need to let both dry before i can go back in. I make a lot of mistakes, and have so much to learn and do sometimes it is overwhelming. Will just keep trying though, and sometimes there is a momentary glimmer of "aha! i can see you there just below the surface," i live for those.

Thank you. But by "a while back", I mean "quite a while back". 2004 for my mother and 1982 for my father... not "raw" any more.

Firstly, though i've commissions backed up like mad, and need money lol. They are mostly female geek culture icons with some pin-ups, and one large oil painting recreating a scene from Sandman for a collector. I'm working on a series about perceptions and expectations but it is darker work. As soon as possible i'll get back to all my perverse paintings. I posted one speed acrylic (with no dilution) and occasionally have watered them down. For most of my erotic work I use pencil for speed and discretion. And watercolors provide quick cleanup too... acrylics a bit more and, of course, oils more. < biggest reason I haven't worked in oils. I will, in fact I was just given some oil paints.

I do stained glass, I work with wood, I design and build kites, and I design 3D assets for video games.

I did spend as much time with her as I could, the last months were shaky and horrible. A year later my gramma passed (natural causes age 94), so both of the adults who raised me are gone from this world. I thank the universe that I had them in my life, and miss them both every single. I'm not as raw anymore and am truly beginning to live life and create art again.
Slow progress, but better than nothing. Breasts are a lot of fun to paint.
