Bondage pic...anyone like?

Odd - looking at that picture, I don't see lack of consent at all.

Those manacles are huge - one light tug and she's free. Only by keeping her hands balled up in fists are they even remotely constraining - if she straightened her hands and tucked her thumb in, she'd slip right out of them, and she knows it. Her facial expression is more one of - "Well. I'm here. What have you got?" - kind of a challenge to whoever's holding that crop. She's clearly there for her own reasons.

It's different for everyone, it's pretty hard to just explain why anyone likes it, becuase everyone does for different reasons. For me it's about trust, and the freedom you find in submission, for others it's about power, or sadism, or masochism, or humiliation. Really the only way to find out is to try it.

I love the feel of restraint and the feel of rope being slowly drawn across my naked body...

then all the trust and surrender stuff as well...

In response to a PM requesting more input from me regarding the picture:

Q: Do you have other thoughts on the picture? Does it turn you on?

A: Not as such. It could be part of a narrative I may find arousing. As I posted before, there's nothing holding her in place except her reasons for being there. The manacles actually detract from the image, to me, because of their physical uselessness. If you're going to bother with a physical show of bondage, at the least it should be effective, at the most, it should be both pretty and effective.

It's something that has to be experienced, and you have to be predisposed to enjoy it. Kind of like Opera; you may learn to appreciate it, but the enjoyment isn't the same as someone who starts out with it inside them.

Personal Expository:As the bound, I like to struggle. I like to squirm and fight physical restraint, once it's been applied. I have no desire to escape, it's the struggle that's fun. I actually "spring wood" while being bound, as I feel rope or cords being wrapped around me. It's exciting, in ways I'm not sure I can articulate.

As the binder, Rope is one of my favorite decorations for a woman. I like the challenge of thinking up ways to restrain another, to share the visceral enjoyment I get while bound. It can be meditative, contemplative, relaxing, and exciting all at the same time. Making another person helpless has its thrill as well. Again, I don't think I can articulate exactly why it makes me tick. It just does.
