Bold New World OCC

Yes, I know. I didn't yet when I wrote the first time...
Thanks, Morgoth.

Your welcome. Also will nobody give me a sword fight at the barracks, are you all imps or something?

Lady Aline... you're most welcome... and I meant every word...

also, thank you... I'm glad you enjoy my character... she's a lot of fun to write.

I think my characters and yours balance each other out quite well. Which is why your idea for getting everybody together to collaborate on a story is such a brilliant idea I think. All those personalities will make the story just brilliant. Good luck with it. If you would like my input feel free to email me... moneytalks@literotica.com

Shouldn't that email addy be:

ORIGINALLY POSTED BY MORGOTH IN THE "BOLD NEW WORLD" THREAD, ON 7/23/00

WHAT ABOUT ME? YET AGAIN I AM FORGOTTEN, AM I NOT IN THIS STORY? I AM ANGRY!!!!!!!!! AND A DEMON'S BACK IS SUPPOSED TO BE ON FIRE, PLUS I THOUGHT WE HAD FIRE MAGES HERE, HELLO??!!!!! A FIREBALL IS ONE THE EASIEST SPELLS, AND WHAT ABOUT FIRE WAVE, I DON'T CARE IF THIS SHOULD GO IN THE OOC AREA!!!!!! I AM MAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ah yes, but you see, I care that this should have been in the OCC area for this thread Morgoth...*shaking finger at you*....

Instead of complaining that you have been forgotten, why not use it to your advantage? Maybe the spell that captured the others has no effect upon Demons, who knows anything is possible (within reason)...

But be careful; I'm not going to allow you to disrupt things again, just when everyone else has started playing nice with each other...The keyword to getting along here is INTERACTION, not DOMINATION, *looking around at a few others as well* And that goes for everyone here, not only Morgie.

Now everybody listen up. Write something that stays near the frame of the storyline, don't try to push around other characters needlessly, and help the tale to move along smoothly (that doesn't mean that you can't add side plots and obstacles and conflict, just do so in a way that it presents a challenge to be overcome by all). Try it, and I'll bet you'll soon find that the other "players" will be interacting with you more. Just some advice from your friendly PAMFAM

Thanks Havocman, I was just a little overly mad for being forgotten for the SECOND time. I at least shall follow your advice. But, I repeat can I get just a slightly more active role?

Listen Morgoth, I think there is a serious misconception that you have...you keep asking others to give you a "more active role", like someone has scripts and is handing out parts, but that's not the way it works.

The only person that can give YOU a "more active role" is YOU. By following some of the advice I posted earlier, you should see that others will begin to interact more with the characters you create, and this in turn will give you more oppourtunities to interact with them...and before you know it, you'll be playing a "more active role" in the story.

One last thing to keep in mind; Few characters in any popular or even good story ever started out all-powerful...all-powerful characters (especially in fantasy stories) usually are the bad guys, the villians. It is this all-powerfulness that the heroes of the tale must grow powerful enough to overcome...but, with few exceptions (Elric for example), in the end, overcome it they do.

That is why we like to read about them so much. We can recognize them; they have the same frailties and limitations that we all do, but somehow grow within their being, change who they are, to carry the day. That is what makes a character that not only has a "more active role" within his tale, but also makes us remember them long after the tale has been told.

Thank you, I will try to improve my character into a more active player in this story, although the little web with all th people powers in it, I was forgotten. Boo hoo.

Thank you PAMFAM! Thank you oh wise powers that be! from saving us from his god-like tendancys! LONG LIVE THE PAMFAM!

What godlike tendencies? All my characters(except for Lokken) are shrimps!

Hello. I was wondering, did you decide to lose the Bold New World scene? I have read it, and like it very much, but it seems that, as you said earlier, you are all waiting for a direction for it to go in. I was wondering if you made that direction, or did you decide to leave Bold New World in the dust.
I am wondering because, I would like very much to join the group, or at least read more of it. Thanks for reading.
Gary

I like it very much as well and am waiting for somebody to post there again so I can reply.

Just trying to revive it.

Pooh, no problem in you coming, but maybe in a few posts.
I think the general idea was to take a time of, train in the grand tradition, and then go against Mikba again. In this again would be the most logical place to find you... or maybe in a dungeon trapped?
