On tv today the blonde anchor revealed her new book she didn't write. Her agent put her in touch with a major publisher who had her sit with a team of people who interviewed her and made the book. BUT ALL OF ITS MY IDEAS! I LOOKED AT AT EVERY PAGE OF IT AND SUGGESTED CORRECTIONS AND CHANGES.

Ghostwriters are people too

GHOSTWRITING is a worthy means of making a living. The best teacher I ever had in writing was a man who hid behind the names of dozens of people. He was the voice of celebrities, scientists, and jocks who possessed ZERO writing ability. NOT all these people were dummies. He wrote Robert Ballard's tale of the discovery of the Titanic. I've attended lectures by Ballard, he's brilliant! He can't write a compelling narrative. My friend explained that ghostwriting sometimes sucked but usually was a lot of fun and was usually quite lucrative. The only job he ever turned down was doing Arnold Swarrtzenegger's autobiography before he broke big in the early 80's and he came to later regret THAT decision. Depending upon how the book was compiled there may be nothing wrong with the celeb's comments at all.

James Patterson must make more than enough with his books ghost written by others, he has enough to purchase time on commercial TV.
