boards forgetting what i have read

Its been a while since i used a forum so perhaps things have changed

I was a forum member on an unrelated board using vb powered boards and im sure when i clicked on the title of the thread it would take me to the last post i read or if i had not read the thread to page one.

its not happening for me hear so is there a setting i am missing or have you got your boards set not to allow this feature

Ok for example I read a thread on Monday on Thursday I click on it I can either click on the title and it opens the first page. Or click on the button marked last and I get the last page.

On other forums i.e. Not the lit forums if you click on last it brings up the last page you looked at not the last page is page 69 of 69 rather than remembering and opening page 23 that was the last page I viewed.

so its a feature not activated on the lit forums, shame it makes the experience much nicer

so is there an application i can use to view the boards on a laptop running win ten or addon for my browser that would give me this feature?

I just came here to post this. The boards frequently forget my last read posts. I don't think I'm doing anything to my cookies, so I think it must be on the server side. I've hit my subscribed threads several times but they keep coming back as unread.

I'm on Win 10 and Chrome, by the way.
