I mean I really have only been on this board a little over a year - but I am considered an old timer.

And I consider those who have been here under 3 months or so to be relatively new here.

In RL - this time relevance - would not be.

I haven't been on that long, but just like real life, I feel like an old man. And I've felt like an old man since I was six. I'm on the brink of another major bout with depression.. I can feel all the warning signs, the self-loathing just waiting for me to stop distracting myself long enough to feel it, the self-pity like a yawning black chasm before me. I've been wrestling with this crap since kindergarden for cryin' out loud, so I know it's gonna go away a couple of weeks after it hits, but I'm getting really fed up with it.

I was talking about feeling like an old man. at 30. I am in total concurrence with the opinion (observation?) made by Sparky:

Board time is a fast-flitting thing, even faster than real time, which is WAY too fast to begin with.
