You should spend more time checking out Blurty. Randoming is a great pastime. Lots of communities sprouting up. I have several.

Random reading is a myth. True randomness stems from random hit without key words. Also, random ryhmes with Van Dam. How about Aswan high dam?

I love blurty. I'm spending more time there now than I do here . I don't really like all the teenagers though. The site is suppose to be for people 18+ but it's full of minors, they just lie when they sign up. It's a shame because now I feel uncomfortable posting anything that isn't PG material.
