The first week of my charity moustache. I've taken Alex 756's advice and gone for the weirdest shape I can feasibly pull off, as well as some sideburns, in order to attract maximum attention to my fundraising efforts.

Speaking of which, there is a website which I set up especially for if anyone from Lit wants to sponsor me. The front end's completely anonymous, no-one will be able to see your real name. It's for a bloody good charity (Everyman, which is a division of Cancer Research) and let's face it, I'm going to look like a complete and utter tit for a month for this charity. Even a couple of quid helps.

I guess so, but cancer kills a hell of a lot of people too. The situation in New Orleans is terrible and I couldn't possibly compare anything to it, but everything always needs something.

Whether it's a bad time or not, I still have to try. I hate the idea of anything that would take my loved ones away, whether that be flood, fire or disease and at the moment, I'm doing what I can for what there is. I still have to try.

I hope that makes sense.
