Name: Eliayde D'Cotille
Age: Unknown
Apperance: Eliyade stands at 5'6" with the lean build of a wild cat. She is slender with skin that was porcelain white. Her hair is black with the streaks of bronze and silver and falls to just below her buttocks in soft waves. She has a delicate almost child like face and burgundy eyes frammed by heavy bkack lashes.

Eliyade stood tall her face to the wind. The hurricane like gales tossed her hair to the wind and she was soaked to the bone by the driving rain. Water flowed in rivulets down her porecelain skin dissapearing into the damp folds of her clothes. She blinked water from her eyes, droplets clinging to her lashes. She kept on hand on the wheel the as she gazed out at the open sea. Her ship the Arcana Dawn was being tossed violently about on the waves. Slowly her ship was breaking apart. The main mast went first, the dark wood snapping as effortlessly as a twig and tossed into the oceans foaming maw. Then bit by bit pieces of the hull began breaking away and cargo from the ship spilled out into the sea and were swallowed up into its dark depths.

The ship was going to sink. This much was undeniable. Yet Eliyade still stood at the helm. She had relinquished her grip on the wheel and now she simply lay down on the soaked deck. Folding her hands on her stomach she looked up at the stormy skies. For a second she was in the eye if the hurricane, peering up at a sunset streaked sky. Then the waves tossed the ship back into the stormy darkness. "When will you ever learn... Not even Nature can destroy that which defies it." Eliyade mummered closing her eyes. A wave tossed the ship violently and it crashed back into the water breaking in to pieces.

The black Jolly Roger floated across the water. Tangled amongst pieces of reckage it floated across the now calm face of the sea, bearing with it the Arcanas only survivor...its Captain.

Captain Howard Douglas
Age: late 20's
Appearance: Standing at 6'3" , the captain has a toned body and rough features on his face. He has dark brown hair that lays about an inch over his brown eyes

Howard watched curiously as his men rowed their rowboat towards an odd object being tossed about by the waves. After seeing the various amounts of wreckage it was sure that a ship went down. 'Hopefully this is a survivor,' Howard thought as he watched the men pull near the object and wait for maybe a minute or two until finally picking it up and putting it in the boat. Howard remembered the time he was at the mercy of nature and mab when he foolishly fought with his old captain against a violent mutiny. Thank the lord that the captain's body absorbed most of the bullet when standing infront of him, or surely they both would've silently sunk to the bottom when they fell of together. Howard reached under his shirt and touched the entry hole while he watched the men on the ship pull the boat up so they could allow the men and the scavenged object aboard. He waked towards the group of men as they all looked upon whatever they found; and what they found was extraordinary.

The captain pushed his way through the gathered bunch and saw a beautiful girl laying unconscious on a black as death Jolly Roger. Her skin was very white, so much so that at first the captain thought she was dead, but it was just porcelain like, and long black hair covered the skin as well as a beautiful childlike face. The hair was interesting to Howard because it had metallic like colors in her hair. As the captain observed the girl, he noticed he wasn't alone, after all, all men hadn't seen female flesh in a while. The thought of his men doing more than looking disturbed the captain, sort of hypocritical being that the captain wanted to do more also; anyway, Howard yelled "get back to your stations!" as he leaned down and picked the girl up and carried her to his quarters, where she'd be safer than anywhere else. Howard got into the room and laid her onto his bed but he accidently brushed his hand against her breast, which stirred the captain. 'This wouldn't be right,' he thought 'the poor girl is probably traumatized.' The captain fought to keep his desires under control, so he eventually stripped off all her wet clothes and let her lay naked and under his sheets as the captain strolled back out onto the deck.

Eliyade woke with a mild shudder, her dark lashes fluttering up. She blinked a few times, alllowing her eyes to adjust. The first thing she became aware of was the slightly rough feel of sheets rubbing against her bare skin. She yawned and rose to her feet wrapping the blanket around her. Her hair was stilcdamp and fell in wild curls over her face and shoulders. Eliyade made her way to the deck, her bare feet silent and stiod in a shaded area. Her eyes scanned the deck with a sharp intensity and she tucked her hair from her face. Then, bold as you please, shre stepped into the light clearing her throat. "Can someone please tell me...what happened to my clothes?" she said in her light musical french accented voice.

Howard looked over the water for any islands he thought were inhabited. He knew that keeping the girl on his boat was wrong, so he had to find a place she could be dropped off on. But he also thought that just dropping her off was wrong. Then the Captain heard an angelic sounding, accented voice asking for her clothes, and he actually forgot all about how she might wake up. He looked over and there was the awoken beauty, wrapped in Howard's blanket as a sort of maleshift dress. He then saw all of his men stare at the sight of something similar to divine beauty and he saw all the want in each man's eye. Howard moved to the girl and said, "come on, let's go get then," he said as he turned her right around and lead her back to his room and closed and locked the door.

Eliyade allowed herself to be led back inside her light footsteps near whispers as she followed behind the ships Captain. A bemused smile decorated her face as she looked around her. The smell of hot male blood was thick enough in the air that it felt palpable. Upon reaching the cabin Eliyade say down on the edge of the bed and began fussing with her hair. Still she was hyper aware of her surroundings. She was rarely unaware of her surroundings and to be lax while in a locked room with a male would not be prudent. "So, this is your ship, yes?" she asked gazing up at him with innocent burgundy eyes.

Howard looked at the girl on his bed messing with her hair and he couldn't help but feel a wanting deep inside of him. When she asked if he was the captain, he handed the girl her now dry clothes and looked into her burgundy eyes, a color that he absolutely found amazing to her. "Yes I am the captain, this is my ship." he walked over to a table and sat on it. "Now, what is your name and can you explain this?" Howard said as he held up the jolly roger that delivered the girl

Eliyade took her clothes and turning away she dressed herself, sheilding her body from view behind the blanket. Once she was redressed she turned to face him. Eliyade stood with her hand on her hip. She was dressed in a black skirt and blood red corset with a black jacket that stipped just below her bust. She walked over to the cabins dresser and picked up a brush, studuingbit momentarily before she began brushing her hair. She was still aware of the Captain but she kept her back to him, brushing her hair until it was sleek and shiny again. Then setting down the brush she glanced back at him.

"I am Eliyade D'Cotile, Captain of the pirate ship Arcana Dawn which now rests with the sea gods." she said tossing her head her eyes defiant, "I am also know as the Scarlet Sea Queen."

Eliyade was one of the most infamous pirates on the Seven Seas.

"You're her?" the captain finally said. "I was hoping she'd be more smarter," he said as he looked her over some more. "At least smart enough to not end up sinking her own ship and then being rescued by a random ship," he continued while walking closer to her. "And I thought she'd be smart enough to try and kill the captain of said ship when she had the chance, especially if the captain served under another captain who deeply despised pirates." Howard said as he grabbed his pistol from inside of the cabins desk. "The man saved my life, its only right I carry on what he wanted." He pointed the gun at the Queen and looked at her questioningly, "how could such a beautiful girl put herself into such a predicament?"

Eliayde laughed harshly and took a step forward. Her burgundy eyes blazed. She was irritated. Her fingers twitched lightly. She new the gun was present, in fact sue was dependent on hin usuig it. She tilted her head to one side and gave him the briefest smile. Then in a flash her hand shot out, gripping the gun barrel. With a small yank she pulled the gun from his grip. "Only weaklings use guns. And only a fool would believe he could kill me easily." Eliyade said with a smile.

She tucked the gun in the waistband of her skirt and took his place siting on the desk. "If you must know my ship sunk in a hurricane that I could not outrun. Im not stupid by any means.," she said with a sweet smile. Eliyade fiddled with her hair lightly as she leaned back. "I am a pirate by choice Captain for I am a beast not even the wild seas can tame."

Howard was quite surprised the girl moved so quick to save her pathetic life. "Listen her girl, on your boat, with your equally level minded friends, you were something to be feared; but now you're all alone, in a strange room, on a strange boat; here, you're just a little girl with discipline problems". he said as he sat next to her on the desk. "A gunshot would've instantly killed you, god forbid, but now any other way will be slow, I promise." he said as he slid closer and put a hand on her thigh. "I, like my men, haven't touched a woman in a while. The only bad part about that is I can control myself, they can't, and there's a lot more of them than me.

Eliyade tried to hild back a laugh but amusement sparkled in her eyes. She gently placed ger hand over the males, letting it rest there momentarily before she slowly trailed her fingers over the back if his arm. "You know I do not believe that you properly grasp and understanding of just who I am." she said, her eyes following the light movements of her fingers, "Perhaps a lesson in ettiquette is neccesary..."

At that her touch went from light to steel, her slender fingers closing around his forearm in a vice grip. Squeezing with only a mere fraction if her strength she ground his bones against each other, a small smile wreathing her lips. Removing his hand from her leg she still held his forearm in her painful grasp. "I am a pirate yes... But then what other choice is there for a lady such ad myself? All other enterpise would be dull." she said with a smile. Finally she released her grip and studiedthe dark marks her fingers had made. "If your men know whats good for them they wontblay a finger on me... Lest I be tempted to break it off."

Howard watched Eliyade place his hand on her and move it slowly up his arm. Her hand was the smoothest thing he ever had felt on hid arm beside maybe silk. Her hand stopped at his forearm and then her soft hand turned into a hard grasp around his arm. She squeezed it with what looked like little effort and almost broke it. The Captain groaned as she squeezed his forearm still while she took his hand of her thigh, and then she let it go. The Captain held his forearm and saw the dark finger marks on his arm, then he said, "but my men are stubborn, they don't listen, they have minds of their own and listen to no one.... I guess I'm a bad influence," Howard then grabbed Eliyade's throat and pushed her against the desktop as he choked her.

Eliyade gasped and then made a small stranfled noise as the males hand closed around her throat. She fell back onto the desk her hair flaring out around her. Her burgundy eyes sparked with a fladh of anger and arousal. She grabbed his wrist lightly as she struggled back into an upright position. Well she didnt struggle really. She could have thrown him off of her with ease if she wished. Reaching out with her other hand she grasped him by the front of his shirt and pulled him so that his face was just inches away from hers. "Release me." she growled out with a raspy breath.

Howard was truly amazed on how strong this girl was, being that she looked like she was having little trouble fighting back. She got into a upright position and grabbed his shirt and pulled him closer, face to face. "I'm not going to release you so you can continue the havoc you've made throughout your life, its best I end it," he said as he squeezed tighter on her throat and pushed her down harder. 'If either one if us die tonight, I ought as well make it worth my while,' the Captain thought just as he leaned in and kissed her lips, cause even though all this stuff was happening, he still didn't want to hurt this beautiful girl.

Eliyade growled deep in her throat as he pushed her back down on to table. Her temper flared briefly but sje was stunned when he suddenly kissed her. Eliyade released her grip on his shiet uer hand flattening against his chest. Then in a sudden display of strength she bucked under him tossing him off her. She slammed him onto the floor and sat on top of him. His hand was till wrapped around he throat and she did not bother to remove it. "You may choke me all you like it has no use." she murmured, "You truly do not understand do you? I cannot be killed." She shook her head and traced the side of his face with her fingertips. When sge pulled them awau they were red with blood. Eliyade jumped off of him ripping from his grasp and backing into a corner. She pressed her clean hand over her nose and trembled her eyes wide.

Howard hoped Eliyad would stop fighting back after he kissed her but she laid her hand against his chest and pushed him off of her. His hand stayed on her throat as they both hit the floor but this time she was on top. She must've been as strong as any man. She traced his face with her hand and shook her head, "I know I can stop you," Howard said under her. She traced his face and pulled them back but she saw blood on her fingers. She escaped his hand and backed into a corner, she covered her nose and trembled, but the Captain didn't know why. He sat up and touched his face and saw blood on his hands too, but it didn't feel hurt though. Why?

Eliyade pressed herself further in the corner and wiped her hands off on her skirt. Her pale skin seemed even paler. Her eyes shimmered and she made a soft hissing noise. Still she steeled her nerves and approached him again. Her hand still covered her mouth and she took out a rag dabbing it to the side of his face before backing away. She turned away from him her hands palm down on the desk edge. Her fists clenched and the wood snapped loudly. Eliyade hissed as shards of wood dug into her skin.

"What is this?" Howard said loudly. He stood up and watched her closely. "What is wrong?" he said as he walked a bit closer. He heard the wood on his desk snapped and he quickly walked beside her. "Calm down," he said as he put his hand on hers, he rubbed her thumb with his. He felt the side of his face again and wiped down to make sure all the blood was gone, "thanks for cleaning it," he said. Howard wasn't sure why the girl who could kill men with her bare hands was so frightened by blood.

Eliyade growled again turning her hands over. Hee skin was healing rapidly ejecting small pieces of wood from the skin. Her breathing was harsh and grating. She looked up at him catching his eye. Did he really think it was the blood she was afraid of? Her skin was unaturally cool to the touch. Blinking she frowned. "Have you really not figured it out?" she whispered.

Howard watched in astonishment and somewhat fear as the girls skin healed from the injury the desk caused. "I don't understand any of this," he answered. "All of this is so peculiar and strange." "This has been weird to me ever since we found you," he continued, "the hurricane and open sea surely should've killed you

"My skin is pale and cold, I am stronger than any human, I can not be harmed ot easily killed, and blood makes me crazy." Eliyade said. She brushed her hair from her face. For the brirfest moment the two puncture marks on the side of her throat. Eliyade rubbed her palm over them felling the burning heat that radiated from the wound. "My dear I am vampyre."

The Captains face turned from questioning to a combination of surprise and fear as well as more questioning. "You don't actually expect to believe you do you?" he said finally; the logic of there being a vampyre is absolutely ridiculous and outrageous!" he said a little louder to hear, "There's no such thing." The truth was that Howard was sort of scared

"Is it?" Eliyade whispered. She closed her eyes and made a hissing noise. Her fangs elongated and she growled. Eliyade flashed across the room and back wlmost as fast as he could blink. She stopopped at the desk. Her incisors retracted to a normal length and she smiled. "Vampyres are very very real " she ssid softly.

The Captain watched Eliyade as she displayed all of her superhuman feats. He was amazed by all of it and it scared him. He didn't know what to say, there were no words. "How could this be possible?" he said as he observed her body and face. He slowly moved his hand to the front edge of her hair and said, "may I look at the bite?" Before he really got an answer though, he slowly brushed her silver and bronze black hair back behind her ear and let the light shine upon the two holes that were made by a monster of selfishness and greed. "Why keep living? Forgive me, but you're an abomination, a monster that won't be accepted into the world. A beautiful young girl like you deserves better," he said as he caressed her soft childlike face and gently rubbed her upper cheek, just below her burgundy eye.
