Gregory and Brianna O'Connor are a rarity.
Not only for the fact of being one of the few XXY zygote monozygotic set of Male/Female twins... But the fact that they have something else quite unique about them.

Ever since they were children, the two have been able to feel what the other was doing, what they were feeling. When they were 10, Brianna had alerted their father of a fight Gregory was in, having felt his pain- as well as her own nose and lip beginning to bleed for no reason. The stronger the emotions or pain, the more the other sibling could feel it.

Their 25th birthday is coming up, and they plan to celebrate it in their usual fashion- a night with their friend Victor at Briarton's Pub, a place not far from their little apartment in NYC. They just hadn't planned for that night to cause one hell of a chain reaction. One slight act of chivalry was about to put the two on the mob's bad side...

Gregory O'Connor-Short tempered irish guy who considers himself the guardian of his sister- even if he is only 2 minutes older.

Brianna O'Connor-Pretty much the female version of her brother. Doesn't like to be treated like a little girl by him, and tries her best to prove that she's just as strong as he. - Claimed by Lily

Victor DeLuca- Good friend to the twins. Cousin to Antony DeLuca, who is under investigation for involvement in the mob.

Angela Johnson- Young woman that works at Briarton's. Knows the twins quite well, since they're such regular patrons.

Bio: Brianna has always felt close to her brother. Even trying to go to college was a guilt trip... She could always tell when something was wrong with him. She just couldn't do it. As much as she hated to admit it, she needed Gregory nearby... He may have been protective, but that was what she grew up with. The hardest thing going for her right now is hiding her interest in Victor from her brother...

Besides, the way she ended up bloody and bruised some nights, she wanted to know the reason behind them. No better way to keep tabs on him then to live with him... and join in on a few of those brawls. Hey, she might be a girl, but she can still fight dirty.

Occupation: Bartender, but he gets most of his money from underground fighting tournaments
Bio: Gregory was always protecting her sister no matter how much she didn't want it. Going to collage was hard, he actually got kind of worried. Gregory didn't do well but managed to graduate, he started up as a bartender but does fighting for most of his money, he's become a very skilled fighter. Gregory always knew when his sister was in trouble but just couldn't do anything. Now they were going to celebrate their 25th birthday where they celebrate every birthday, a night out at Briarton's with Victor, though things were about to take a serious turn...

Victor had never much cared for the “Family Business”, but for him it was just the way things were. There was always lots of money to go around, and lots of big secrets to keep hidden. He knew his way around a gun, but preferred to keep his locked up. He was content to get his taxable paychecks from the “family” for his services managing the “Legitimate” aspects of his cousin Anthony’s pub. Purchasing orders, schedule making, menu development; all of these things needed to be done, even in a bar that was “Mobbed Up”.

Victor also served as the public face of Briarton’s Pub, welcoming guests in expensive looking suits at the door. Victor had mixed feelings about his family’s ways, but always thought of himself as a few degrees removed from that life.

Tonight was a special night as his long time friends the O’Connors were coming in to celebrate Brianna’s 25th Birthday. He wanted everything to be perfect for her so he asked for all of his heavy tipping “regulars” to stay away for the night.

“It’s... It’s about a girl.” was the only reason he gave to his cousin for turning away such huge tabs, but that was reason enough for Anthony. Victor truly hoped that he might have a chance to steal a few moments alone with Brianna, without her very protective and short-tempered twin.

Bio: Angela Maria Corinne Johnson. Born to a half-Puerto Rican, half Jewish mother and a half Irish, half-Italian father, this girl was born with a slew of religious and cultural complexities, much like the city of her birth. Despite the hardships and struggles the city threw at her daily, she somehow always managed to survive. Her friends call her Angel or Angie for short, she was always preferred the latter, cause she was anything but an angel. With a fiery spirit, hot temper and a mouth to match, the delicate little flower was more than capable of taking care of herself. Born in the neighborhood, she's worked at Briarton's pub ever since her junior year of high school. College had once been the plan, but when her mother fell ill and her good for nothing drunk of a father had walked out on them, she needed cash and fast. Everyone in the neighborhood knew the fastest way to get cash was to align yourself with the family. Luckliy for her Anthony De Luca had a soft spot for pretty young things like herself. Once she give him a taste of what he wanted every now and again, he made certain she had a roof over her head and a job. Dont get her wrong though even without the little favours in the back office, De Luca would have to be crazy to let her go, she was one of the best waitresses he had. The plain truth of the matter was she was good at her job, damn good. The money wasnt bad either some of the city's bigggest tippers rolled through Briartons every night. If you were willing to turn a blind eye to some of the less than kosher dealings that happened behind the scenes and could stand a pat on the ass every now and then from some of the more zealous patrons, you could easily walk a way with a few hundred dollars in tips. Aside from the money, Gregory O'Conner was the only other good reason she had for sticking around. She had grown up on the same block as him and his twin sister, and Angela had always had a crush on him. Unfortunately, it seemed he never took notice of her as anything more than a friend. But she was gonna change all that, she was certain of it. Tonight was the night, it was the twins birthday and she had a special surprise present in store for Gregory.

Do the twins suffer injuries IN PLACE of the other, or in addition to the other's injuries?

Unfortunatly Greg has a notoriously short fuse and will not hesitate to get into a fight. His concern for affecting his sister through the bond usually keeps him out of trouble.

He still wouldn't have smacked you around, he wasn't that kind of guy. If you really came on he might have done something with you. But I doubt it, he had some strong family ties.

But that would have been incredibly rough sex, if he did.
