BlondGirls box is full!

You want me to clean out my FUCKING box or my PM box? One is a computer task and the other would be done in the shower. I am not sure how you would have determined from yoru distance that my FUCKING box was in need of some attention but if you are indicating it from 1/2 way across the country, then it must be a major problem. Damned stuffy nose. Hell, I probably need to change my socks too.

Oh FINE! There. Now I have made room. There is just enough room in my box now for you. ;)

Aren't you posed to be heading my way soon? This week or next?

now I've forgotten what I was gonna say, so there! NAH! :p

Oh, and not until March, you meeting us at the "Bush" airport? We've only got a 45 minute layover going down, and 2½ hours cumming back. :D

I haven't been to the airport at all since the changes and am curious about how difficult it would be to visit with someone during a layover.
Typically, I don't take luggage either--I go with the impression that everything I need is at Wal-Mart or already at my destination. (Do I REALLY need to pack shampoo or extra socks?)
Since we are planning the trip up this spring, I am wondering if we should go ahead a buy a suitcase. Give me your suggestions, please--oh-wise-one.

Trip to where? Where you've told me before? Or here? There's 3 Walgreens, a Wal-mart, and any number of other stores to buy that stuff at, within 3 miles of my home. I agree, IF you are travelling domestic.

That damned BIG ASS, TEXAS Airport, has changed everytime I've flown to there. The only thing that made it bearable last time was the fact that they FINALLY added a tram from concourse C to concourse D, where all the international flights are at. Saves about (NO SHIT!), 20 minutes walking time. Customs is easy as pie though.

Oh, and visiting during a layover is impossible, since you can't get into the concourses without a ticket for a flight. :(

Baby, the tram has been there since I was a kid. One of the highlights of my solo summer flights for me. And I did not realize that airport was so big. But, I suppose that everything down here in Texas is a bit bigger than the rest of the country. ;)

I was wondering how difficult it is to leave the restricted area and go back through. And I have wondered if the scanners have been moved closer to the terminals now. It seems all the restrooms and shops and food joints and even the chapel were inside the scanned areas.

We are planning to head to KC, remember?

FUCKING BLOODY HELL! I never knew about the tram, no one ever said anything to me about them anyway. I was ok with ALL the excercise, but I'd much rather take a 3 minute tram ride than walk these days.

Everything is STILL in the restricted areas, so yo're out of luck I guess unless you are actually flying.

I thought you were talking of K.C. but it got changed at the time? Anyway, I travel to K.C. a few times a year if I can. Lots of fun for the kids at the Worlds and Oceans of fun parks. Still just a 4 hours or less drive away from St. Louis too! ;)

We only plan to be there maybe 4 or 5 days so it is possible that we won't get to do much besides goe to church and eat BBQ. We will see though. I will be at the mercy of an old high school chum and his girl friend. (I have to make sure he is treating her right and is good enough for her--from what he has told me of her, he has found the most wonderful woman ever.)
He and I have not seen each other in over 10 years. Oh, my! How times have changed.

The trams at Bush are great--for a potty break, the bathrooms in the hotel are supreme. LOL--my kid and I had an afternoon to kill after dropping a friend off there last year and explored every area of the airport we were inclined to. It was a great adventure--and sadly, not one he'll be able to repeat with his own children.
