Blogs for writers

I have a blog that my publisher initiated and handles--but only sporadically even though I've given him two years worth of material, but I don't really think they are worth the effort--not enough effort to goose him to feed it more regularly.

Neil Gaiman and Joanne Harris are good. Gaiman's writing-related stuff is maybe a bit more on the abstract side, musings about the relationship between readers and the story, Harris is more on the practical side, stuff like how to make time for writing etc.

Now I look, Harris hasn't posted a lot of writing-related tips recently but I expect she'll start up again some time. She had a thing of doing "ten things about..." tweets relating to some aspect of writing, which she collected into a book "Ten Things About Writing". (Or maybe she wrote the book and then tweeted bits out? I'm not sure.)
