Just saying...if you think Joe is responsible for the supply chain, for fixing it, for fixing inflation....isn't that the argument for big, centralized Govt?

If you think Joe is responsible for fixing it, yes that is a big centralized government argument.

Thus the (D)'eez desire to have god king Joe do all the "progress".

You don't post topic starters so you get a pass....how many of your friends here post "Joe sucks" threads due to high prices, inflation, supply chain. It's certain your side has exactly this desire...."God King Joe".

Nice diversion. Too bad it is the Republicans promoting fixing it by govt intervention.

Let's look at one example...price of oil. Which is the reason why gasoline prices are increasing. What is your solution? Understand, oil companies sell their product to the highest bidder. If the EU is willing to pay more for gas...why shouldn't a company seek to maximize their profits by selling their product to those willing to pay more?

Understand...the US cannot drill for oil profitably if the price of oil is below 50-60 dollars per barrel based on type of oil. Having more oil wells does not equate profitability if the price is too low per barrel. Should the companies drill for more oil when the price is $35/barrel? Should the Govt dictate that?

If the US had been looking toward the future 20 years ago, as the Democrats were promoting, then the price of gasoline would be more stable. Econ 101. It isn't rocket science

You mean like gas was under Trump, around $1.90/gal????

Oh, Oh Oh, I know, I know. Like the Keystone pipeline that was under construction under Trump?????

No wait, dumb dumb biden cancelled that his first week. Why?? Because his major campaign contributor has an exclusive contract to ship oil by rail!!!!

He can fix it by getting government out of the way. Same goes for those lame ass state governors and big city mayors.

The response is nothing more than karma. Biden was playing politics with this during the election.

FLASHBACK: Biden blamed food shortages under Trump in 2020 on 'lack of leadership'https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/poli...lack-of-leadership/ar-AAPxdbh?ocid=uxbndlbing

"We don't have a food shortage problem — we have a leadership problem," then-candidate Biden said in May of 2020 during a virtual town hall while blaming Trump for food shortages during the coronavirus lockdowns.

Correct and it's playing politics just like you are...if.you want out of the swamp, then do it.

Biden was a better choice in 2020....that is all he was for me.

And, it's all irrelevant except to keep the squabbling going.

I'm all for smaller federal Govt....let's start with the military.
Whether you tout 45 for making goods cheap or 46 for not doing enough to bring the costs down.....it is all the same argument....big, centralized govt will solve the problem.

You fucked up =/= you're responsible for fixing this.

That's why the RW's ideological position on the economy is "Just stop meddling with it and go fly your F-22's and run your courthouses."

Nice diversion. Too bad it is the Republicans promoting fixing it by govt intervention.

Cite??

And if they are they're wrong.

Let's look at one example...price of oil. Which is the reason why gasoline prices are increasing. What is your solution?

Not shutting down pipelines for one.

Understand, oil companies sell their product to the highest bidder. If the EU is willing to pay more for gas...why shouldn't a company seek to maximize their profits by selling their product to those willing to pay more?

They shouldn't.

No the government shouldn't dictate that. They should also stop running the price up on the industry so we can make profit at lower prices.

If the US had been looking toward the future 20 years ago, as the Democrats were promoting, then the price of gasoline would be more stable. Econ 101. It isn't rocket science

LOL.... the cost of energy has never done anything but go up under (D)'s.

Then why are you all so fucking horrible at it??

What makes you think that would work? It's not regulation or taxation that's blocking the supply chain -- whatever it is, is some new factor.
