Even though I find these types of stories in poor taste, no offense, I did read one because it was by a writer here whose other works I really enjoyed. There are some authors on Lit that write stories like these. Some are a little creepier than others. Just do a search. There are many BF/WM stories that are set in the present without the racial undertones or creepy slave stuff that are awesome, well written and sexy. Give those a shot too.

There was one I came across a while back, had a black lady who was a lawyer whose car broke down and ended up having to go to some truck stop in the Old South. One thing led to another, and she was on the receiving end of a gangbang/slavery roleplay. This is, as has been said, a difficult topic. My own specialty is White male/Black female stories, and one of them, "Willing Slaves," features a sort-of-flashback to the slavery era, but when I've been asked by readers to set a complete story in the pre-Civll War South I find I can't do it. But I would certainly love to read a good White male master/Black female slave story. Anyone out there who's thinking of writing one, please go for it! You definitely have an audience.

The title of the thread could have -- and probably should have -- been worded better. "Powerful, Alpha esque white male takes on a submissive black female"... just tossing a generic wording out there.

Not every black female slave of the civil war era was inherently submissive...and even now~not every submissive displays slavish tendencies, not every slave (BDSM sense) gets off on the idea of submitting.

The words don't offend me because what the OP was asking about was a specific genre for a specific type of interracial thing set during a specific time period. His title explained exactly what he meant...and that isn't inherently racist. It's only fetishistic.

Myself? I don't get off on that idea. Race play requires a level of trust that is hard to fathom. Writing a sensitive story set during that time period would have to involve a certain level of non con (therefore negating the submissive aspect...at least in MY mind because if the woman can NOT say no...and during that time frame black female slaves could NOT...then it is NOT submission, it is rape.)

Conversely, I don't find much joy in the Black Owner, white slave/submissive idea either. It's just another way to indulge in race play but reversing the entitlement, not for me.

(For the record I have dated men and women of all colors, all persuasions...but the inherent danger with any type of race thing is that racism can be shown or expressed in a way that is unhealthy, for the person Topping...that is MY take, YMMV.)

Sorry for the thread hi-jack, BTW...just wanted to clarify why I thought the title was fine the way it was and how changing the wording could be just as bad and misconstrued as what the OP's original title was.
