Can my kids stay as well? The eldest is in school for...*blinks* something to do with computers. The middle is a workaholic like her mother...and the youngest is an honor roll student taking all advanced classes in high school.

Plus...well fuck I don't listen to HIM. Most of my family (integrated, interracial yahoos from WV, VA and MD) do what we do because to sit on our asses doesn't seem to be a healthy attitude.

As for the rest of it? Who gives a fuck? From what I see in my neighborhood, anyone who wants to work IS working. So national numbers and averages mean nothing to me.

Not that you want facts, but black people tend to be poorer than the general population. Lower-income folks are always the last to benefit from recoveries and this one is no exception. That doesn't mean it's the president's fault or that black people would have been better off voting for Romney who wanted to raise their taxes.
