Why should there be a Black History Month? Why arent there _______ History Months as well?

Why are singleing out one "minority"? The largest minority in the US are the hispanics, why dont they have one? When will we have a Muslim History month?

Are we afraid of Blacks and given them a month to shut em up? or, have we given them Feb as its only 28 days long and they have only 28 normal guys?

I can't believe that I'm responding to this.

Oprah is an inspiration for many, not only blacks because of the following:

She's intelligent, ambitious, a hardworker and survivor.
There are tons of other qualities but I won't go on.

And Oprah's NOT fat. She's well fed.

Is there a reason someone should call you ignorant and/or racist based on this comment? I don't know you well enough but if you *really* think there are only 28 normal black men, it's your problem and yours alone.

Anyway, I have also wondered why other minorities don't have history months. There would be no need for black history month if schools taught the ENTIRE American history instead just bits and pieces of it.
