Sounds like it did. Hey whatever works!! Interesting how the human mind associates smells with specific individuals and certain situations. There is a whole industry that seriously profits from this. I actually love the feeling of being bought back in time by a smell, when that image instantly shows me something I hadn't thought of in years.

Turns out--and much to my own annoyance--I posted a lot of pics in places other than this here thread. And because many of you do not go to such places; of which, believe me I understand, I took it upon myself to gather them all up and add them to my index page.

When I was living in the US I did like going to old record shops and bookstores. It was fun and interesting noting changes in styles and also seeing how "the more things change , the more they somewhat remain the same".

I'm guessing you're talking about the blue dolphin tattoo on my side. Not a hieroglyph, just something I liked. Doesn't have a meaning per se... though one could associate love and friendship with it.
