Biting Comments

OK, I have five stories up and generally the feeback has been positive. That said, one of my new stories (J is for Jerk) has been doing rather poorly in the ratings. I would expect it to be close to 4.5, but it's currently 4.0.

Three of the comments (all, coincidentally, from good old "Anon in the USA" and sounding remarkably similar) were rated 0. OK, I know that the scores associated with the comments don't really affect the overall numerical rating. And truly, I'm not losing any sleep over this.

The biting comment was somewhat justified, saying that the premise was unrealistic. Well, it's non-consent ... duh! But I was actually thinking that I set up a scenario which could possibly be more realistic than most.

Anyhow, fellow Litters ... suggestions? I was thinking of leaving the first biting comment and deleting the others. Or I could leave them all.

If your gonna write here, expect some negative feedback, justified or not. There will always be people (some who have never even read the work) that will cut it down.

You're right, of course. Just don't know if I should attempt damage control when someone appears to have an issue with me. Of course, the fix might piss him/her off more.

Say, anyone know the website where I can buy that lotion that gives you extra thick skin?

BTW I'm curious as to how many views your story has had and in what time lines. ie. 100 views a day, 500...or ??? Do most stories get a great deal of views when still in the new story section? How many story views would one get on "average" or typically in say the first week, month, three months, six months etc.?
This would be very interesting to have some feedback on.

It might have done better in BDSM.

I think it's a mistake for a woman to mention cock size if she wants good ratings. The guys can all imagine they have gigantic cocks but when a woman indicates she might prefer one, there will be retaliation from some quarters.

It's got a few minor typos/mistakes.

Frankly, I wouldn't worry about it. It's really hard to judge what will go over. Write what you enjoy and fuck 'em (don't take me literally )

I thought it was good.....even though I'm not into those types of stories
