bisexual story cat poll

So, we're going to continue taking periodic user polls--with no effect--as usual?

Any bets on whether the 12 people who vote "leave it be, Lit is just fine" only read "Loving Wives" stories? :D

I pass on this one.

But the suggestion for a Bi category came from Lauren; if it's going nowhere, why would she even mention it?

Somehow I doubt that lit was designed with ease of architecture in mind.

Although the forums can be altered with the click of a mouse, I'm betting that the story side is all hand-coded php files and most of them will have to be altered (which is exactly what PHP shouldn't have to do) in order to include the new category.

Otherwise a lot of changes would have been easy enough to do-- and would have been done.

Lit is not going to spend any time or money re-categorizing stories unless it can be done via tags with a click or two. Any new category is just new. If they create a new category.

Oh, totally. In our discussion I assured her that no one expected her and Manu to do any such thing.

... We don't, do we?

No, I'll be flabbergasted if they do anything.

sr, if you're correct, then I feel taken advantage of, even though all I wasted was a little time. It's not right to ask people to respond to a proposal when the proponent has no intention of acting on the proposal, however positive the requested feedback might be.

I'd expect such behavior from politicians, of course.

Speaking as someone who hates when extra dicks pop up in stories I read, I welcome the change.

I, on the other hand, spring eternally hopeful. :p

Laurel didn't ask. Stella asked for her. If Laurel was that interested in actually doing anything, she would have done the asking. I'll be happy, of course, if something is done, but that's not the pattern here.
