Birth Rate Solution

I suspect there is no birthrate solution unless tech changes. To sustain their welfare states, rich countries will continue to import labor from countries. Eventually people will get used to it and capital will have to find a different way to divide voters against each other.

One of the issues with falling birth rates is the way Society is structured today. Where is the support for families with children in the shape of good quality affordable child care? Food, clothes, healthcare? Never mind about education.

The most logical birthrate solution is to start importing Russian and Ukrainian women. :)

There aren't enough men left over there to go around. :)
There is a larger number of people there who claim partial or full descent from Ukrainians who settled last century. They could marry into the local population if American men were brave enough to take on a Ukrainian woman. A feisty lot they are.

And quite lovely. :)

Or will you go the way of China?

. . . China's population, reported to be 1.41 billion, will drop to 330 million by the end of the century, predicts Yi Fuxian of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. This startling conclusion is included in a paper to be published in the Winter 2024 issue of the Contemporary China Review. He's not the only one concerned. "China has embarked on a road of demographic no-return," writes Wang Feng of the University of California, Irvine. Yi puts it this way: "Left unaddressed, China's demographic trap could precipitate a civilizational collapse." . . .

That's a far cry from the 4 billion they were suggesting. :)

Yes, and a similar fate awaits the USA if Trump as Trump kills the economy and cuts off the outside world with tariffs and ICE goons.

I'd say our population count is far more accurate than China's. AI is more likely to destroy civilization than one man. :)

There are plenty of prosperous nations with low population density. It’s not a “problem” that needs to be solved.

Australia, Iceland, Canada, Norway, Finland, New Zealand. Even the US has a relatively low population density.

Government can help by allowing more construction of new homes (lower prices) and giving US citizens more benefits for having babies. Oh, and getting rid of illegals and anchor babies who cause our insurance, tax and hospital bills to be so high because they do not pay.
Always about immigrants and "illegals" with you, isn't it.

Fox News says the birth rate in the US is too low … so teenage girls should be popping out more babies! 🤪 These are the same guys who promote abstinence for teens.

The 70-year-old guy advocating for more teen pregnancies was clearly thinking he’d be the father. Creepy fucker.

Fox News analyst blames low birth rate on teens not having enough kids

He doesn’t want teen girls to delay pregnancy until they’re financially secure and have the right partner:

So many MAGA sheep are weirdos!

PS: A falling birth rate is a good thing. High birth rate nations are poor. Low birth rate nations are relatively rich.

its like what i have been saying for months and almost years now

the trump right wing orbit are known to have 3 to 10 kids want 3 to 10 kids wanting 3 to 10 kids and having 3 to 10 kids

its like the trump right wing orbit want every family in the us of a to be just like the bradys from the tv show brady bunch and lambert fosters from the other tv show step by step

That is what Elon Musk, Trump and Putin want. Putin wants this in Russia(also explains his homophobia).

Most likely more accurate. That way, as your population starts to decline, because of economic problems, poor maternal and child care, and the choking off of immigration, you'll know the scope of your decline better than China will know the scope of their decline.

You’re not going to solve low birth rates by cracking down on immigration. Maybe encourage Americans and immigrants to have children together, but better healthcare and family leave policies and less stagnant wages would help. Mind you, higher wages can hike inflation, so things like only raising wages locally, reducing graft and fraud, and raising marginal income tax rates and taxing Wall Street speculation and buybacks could offset it.

Phasing out the trade war would also help, as would capping private equity purchases of homes.

Should criminal aliens be deported? Sure. But So and So from MS13 and the guy who killed Laken Riley aren’t most immigrants. Maybe deport Nicki Minaj and her husband (if he’s not a citizen) and brother, for instance. Deport any foreigner who has a record of terrorist associations and affiliations as well. That still leaves plenty of foreign men and women, many educated and highly productive, to start families with Americans.

And don’t exclude polyamorous people from that. I’m more than willing to add a whip smart South Asian woman, a Venezuelan woman, and her East Asian husband or boyfriend to my love life.

They're aborting 50,000 souls pre year. :)

So, as someone who has sat in on board of director meetings for enormous private corporations and public institutions, no one disputes the fact that illegal immigrants are huge drains on public and private coffers..
Actually, immigrants, both legal and illegal, are the ones that pick the cabbages in the hot sun, work long hours on construction projects, keep the meatpacking plants operating and mop the floors and clean the toilets in the middle of the night while you sleep. Without them, your country would be poorer, the economy would be less dynamic and your population would be declining. As always, whether they were the Irish immigrants in the beginning of the 19th century or the Italians and Poles at the end, or the Chinese in the early 20th century or the Jews fleeing the Holocaust they contribute far more to your country than they get back. The parasites are the crypto-billionaires and tech-bros and corporate conglomerates who shift their income offshore and demand a bigger and bigger share of your hard-earned wages to provide tax holidays for their data centres, sport stadiums and "fulfillment centres"!

No need to replace babies. An enlightened society would balance its economy and educate its citizens so that birth rates and conception wouldn't be a tangled mess like they are in our current one.

The era of one family income providing for a family of four has become mythical. Birth control availability was hailed as a remarkable achievement and seen as a step in that direction. What hasn't been achieved is the removal of the stigma of sexual activity among consenting partners. We seem to be stepping backward in that regard as religion rises as a roadblock again. As are roadblocks in obtaining contraceptives. A little research on the subject is in order:

If we want fewer abortions, preventing unintended pregnancies should be common ground. That means giving people accurate sexual education and affordable access to contraception—not merely telling them to be responsible while leaving them without the information or means to plan a pregnancy.

There is evidence behind that approach. A 2016 Cochrane review found that programs combining education with contraceptive promotion reduced unintended adolescent pregnancies by about 34% across four individually randomized trials involving 1,905 participants. That finding did not hold conclusively in trials randomized by schools or other groups, and the review’s abortion results were inconclusive. The evidence supports combining education with practical prevention, not claiming that classroom instruction alone solves the problem.

More directly, the Contraceptive CHOICE Project provided counseling and no-cost contraception. Participants’ annual abortion rates in 2008–2010 ranged from 4.4 to 7.5 per 1,000 women, compared with the 2008 national rate of 19.6. Those are substantially lower rates, although this observational study cannot establish that the program alone caused the difference.

None of this means contraception can eliminate abortion or address every medical circumstance. It does support a practical argument: helping people prevent pregnancies they do not want can reduce the circumstances that lead them to seek abortions. Whatever our moral or religious differences, making informed, voluntary pregnancy planning easier ought to be a shared priority.

Title X Program Source Link

"A series of federal policy and judicial actions in 2025 significantly restricted funding streams for Planned Parenthood affiliates. In the spring of 2025, the federal Title X family planning program withheld grant payments to 144 Planned Parenthood sites in 20 states. On June 26, 2025, the Supreme Court issued its decision in Medina v. Planned Parenthood South Atlantic. The ruling allowed state Medicaid programs to disqualify Planned Parenthood clinics from their networks of participating providers. Shortly thereafter, on July 4, 2025, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) was enacted, establishing a one-year prohibition on federal funding for Medicaid reimbursements to Planned Parenthood clinics for services provided to Medicaid enrollees in all states. Collectively, these policy shifts have resulted in notable funding losses and financial instability for these clinics, with implications for health care access for low-income individuals and Medicaid beneficiaries who rely on them for family planning and preventive services."

How do we replace the infants who are explosed to measles and mumps?!!

Don’t kill em in the womb! It’s far more fun to let “flat earthers” kill them later
