Have you been there? Is it as good as I heard it is? I will be going there for most of the month of April and I heard it was good. Share your experiences there if you have been there.

I haven't been down there since the mid 70s when it was a filthy hell-hole. I hear it's pretty nice now that they brought in the Casinos.

I actually had a friend in the late 70's who moved to SF from there and she was so sweet and had the sexiest southern accent and she was always tellin us stories of how damn much fun it was down there in the delta,

only probelm was she was a wicked racist and did not do well with my militant Black friends...oops...ya know the Oakland contingent wanted to string her up...

do a reverse lynching on her little white butt...

she got the hell outa town
never heard form her again...

true story and Im not saying that all people from there or anywhere are racist-she, however, was.

Been through there a time or two - on the way to and from Florida. Pretty beaches! And I hear the casinos are nice - helped to make the place spruced up some. I've spent one night there - and it was a quick stop at that, but what I saw I liked.
