Which language do you think in? Call it insane curiosity to know something unimportant.

they all get jumbled together... and if i try to speak in any of them now.. they all get mixed up and everything sounds really funky

English...

But when I talk in American I translate as I go along, so as to make it ezzier to understand.

EZ

Ps. When I talk in French I think in French (if I'm lucky), otherwwise I think in English then translate, then speak.
ditto for my poor Spanish and Italian and German.

I should have made that multilingual, sorry.

And I always think in English - but that is probably because I didn't learn spanish until I was older.

Well Angel,

I think in Arabic,Berbish,English,Mexican Spanish, and Latin on occasion...when I speak...it depends on what language the other person speaks as a normal rule.

If I'm in Spain or France...

...for any length of time I don't need to translate when I speak. But once I leave and maybe return after 3-4 months the French and Spanish get completely mixed up. I'm still not thinking in English but my words get confused. I only know I'm doing it when I get weird looks from people...

"Hey Pedro, what's this nutter on about?"

when in Sao Paulo

I can think in English, Spanish and Portuguese...

The conversion isn't instant ... it takes a few minutes of speaking the other language for my thinking to change....

I speak enough French and Italian to travel comfortably.... but I have never found myself thinking in those languages....

I'll never forget the first time I woke up from a dream and realized that I had been dreaming in Spanish...

English until I switch to Angel mode. Then it gets all heated up and jumbled.

I once dreamt in German...

...but I couldn't understand it...

did LRD say that she had a dream about "sucking a Russian"....???

damn my English sucks....

I'm about to

Switch from English to the universal sound of snoring in about 15 minutes. :D;)
