One of my ambitions was satisfied a couple of months ago, when I rode on a Harley... my first bike ride. Whoa.... it was great, I just loved it.

I was a bit nervy at first, I felt so vulnerable and had this fear of falling off. But I soon settled down and enjoyed the freedom of bike riding.

Hardest thing for me was getting on it... I'm a shorty and it's a long way up!

Yeah I'm sure ! Looking to get a Cobra (Ford Mustang) symbol tattooed on my bicep. But the GSX-R is so nice. I don't know if it's the type of bike you were refering to (seems you ment Harley's ) but they are awesome and my type, fast and quiet .

Hello Ukin, just had to stop in and say you are right here. I have been riding on Harleys for over 7 years now. yes its not my own, but that will change real soon....Whoever believe that Harley Riders are bad, just really don't know what truly good kind hearted people most are. We are always having bike runs to raise money for good causes, and just the love of riding to feel free, no words can explain it....We go to most biker's week.....which in a few weeks will be going to Lake George, for Americade, Then off to New Hampishire for Laconia .......and let me tell you those are the best time , just being around all who have the same love....I will try to download the bike I always ride on.... Ohhh I did just go for my license.....and road classes and will be getting one of my own, someone special to me...told me to pick out what ever one I wanted and it is mine...Ahhhh isn't life just grand .....A good day to all, I will be posting more in this thread..........

I have 6 tattoo's now. My latest were the American flag and the British flag on each arm. I wanted them both together...crossing over, but sadly, not enough room on me skinny arms!

Now, you'll have to excuse my ignorance...but I know or assume that the GSX-R is a Sports bike...but which make...Honda? When I got my Harley I also had a Ninja (Kawasaki) but only got that to pass the test on. I have to admit, it was fun riding the Ninja around the mountain/hilly area in North California...but not as comfortable as the Harley.
I had to smile at your comment about fast and quiet....were you talking about bikes or women? hahaha
