Pleasantville was a small, quiet town....atleast to most. Tommy Dawkins, Lori Baxtor, and Merton Dingle knew better than to accept the appearance of the burg, however, and had a-many adventures with the supernatural. This is their story.

Sorry for the short intro, no time to post any more than that. Please post any character requests or comments on 'OOC: Big Wolf on Campus'. Thank you in advance, and happy posting!

The radio blasted my ears, as I jumped out of bed. It was going to be my first day in the town, so I might as well make the most of it. I've already been all over North America, and other places to, but this is the place where my parents finally decided to settle down. No more transfering high schools for me, I was sticking with the high school in this town, and there was nothing my parents could do about it. I felt like I was going to enjoy it here. I also enjoyed Briton, but thats something I won't reveal for awhile.

The 'Pleasantville Badgers'?" Biana thought to herself as she read the Pleasantville Highschool marking-stone. "Lame..."

Biana could already tell she was going to hate it here. She looked about at the students that had already arrived, fully convinced that she took a wrong turn somewhere and ended up at some prep school. "Who am I kidding,' she thought, "this town is far too pathetic in size to have two highschools...they hardly have one. Besides, unless letterman jackets were the required uniform of the prep school..." Biana gave up the self-debate with a soft sigh.

Biana was a girl of grace; she seemed to float along the pavement without sound of a single footfall. The eerie feeling of it was only increased by the fact that she wore huge black boots; they reached nearly to her knee, the shoe of it being well-rounded at the toe, and heavy tread covering the bottom. One would atleast expect a soft 'thud' sound from even the lightest of walkers; but it was no such way with Biana.

Entering the main passageway of the highschool, Biana tried her best to keep her eyes forward. She could feel the stares of the students that had been here all their lives upon her; she could feel their questioning of her character and their whispering of her clothing. In all reality, Biana was not an extreme girl... But, in this town, she would forever be branded as one.

Biana turned into the office, her long trench coat trailing behind her as if there were a dramatic wind in the very halls of Pleasantville High. She looked at the lady at the desk.

"Excuse me," Biana spoke softly. Her voice was like the wilderness trapped into sound; it was harsh but beautiful, it was raging yet controlled. It was a voice like no other in Pleasantville. "I'm a new student here."

The lady raised her gaze to the girl. She noted the clothing; a tight-fitting black tank-top with random slashes of red, a black long-sleeved webbed undershirt, a short black skirt, black stockings reaching to her mid-thigh, her knee-length boots, and, of course, the trenchcoat. She lowered her glasses down her nose as she looked the girl over. Pale, black hair, and abnormally bright green eyes. "Name?" the secretary finally asked.

"Biana Namir," the girl stated plainly. "I'm a senior this year and--"

"Living with your parents?"

"Ahh...no. On my own."

The lady scribbled on some paper. She handed Biana a stack of papers. "Fill these out," she commanded, pointing to a chair.

Biana nodded politely and walked to the chair. She sat, crossing her legs, and set the packet upon her thigh and began filling it out.

I rushed toward the school, trying not to run at my abnormal super speed. Something that I would explain later, but for now, I needed to get to school. I wasn't late, in fact I was ten minutes early, or so. I walked into the halls with me new Nike shoes, some regular jeans, and a blue t-shirt. You could tell by my clothes that I was just a regular joe, or so it seems. I went up to the front desk to recieve a time-table, and other doo-dads, that had to do with education. I very pretty girl in black boots caught my attention, but now was not the time to chit-chat. Now was the time to do other things, like going to the front desk for example. I lightly tapped on the desk, and said, "hi, I'm Wally Roddy, my parents have transferred me to this school, and I'm here to get my time-table, and so forth". The secretary tapped a few keys on the computer, smiled, then handed me stuff like an agenda, a time-table, and even a little sticker that said, "welcome to pleasentville high!". How cute.

Biana looked up at the boy who entered the office, listening to the conversation between him and the secretary as indescretely as possible.

"Parents...must be nice..." she thought, wishing someone else would've filled out this tedious paperwork for her. She gave a mental shrug and continued to move her pen rapidly over the sheets of fallen trees, trying to get through all of it as soon as possible.

Just as the casual new guy began his way out the door, Biana stepped up to the secretary's desk. She gently set down the papers before her.

The secretary picked up the papers and flipped through the information, simply making sure that it was all filled out. Then she turned to the pages that marked what classes she wished to take part in.

The secretary quickly typed up a schedual and handed it to Biana. Then she handed her a slip. "Give this to each of your teachers; you won't be on their class list until sometime this week, so this will let them know things didn't get messed up."

Biana nodded silently. "And," continued the secretary, "we'll get all of your other credits from your other school transferred... Sometime we'll have to get you in here to talk it over; make sure everything is clear." The secretary brightened suddenly, handing Biana the same lame sticker she had given the casual new guy before her. "Welcome to Pleasantville Highschool!"

Biana made her way out of the office as soon as possible, looking at her schedual in search of her locker number and combo. She found it easily enough.

"Locker 347...locker 347..." Biana looked down the halls in search of the 300 hallway. It didn't take her too long to find.

Biana walked to her locker, making sure that it was indeed the right one. With her long, slender fingers, she skillfully began spinning the numbers of the combo, quickly finishing it. She pulled the latch up and attempted to open the locker, but it stuck.

"Damn it..." she thought to herself. Suddenly a fist flew forward, hitting the metal gently, but just enough to get the locker to pop open. Biana looked over to the one that aided her.

Locker 348, locker 348 , I thought to myself. Going down the 300 hallway, I finally found it. How quant, it was right next to the that pretty girl's locker. As I went up to mine, two fat guys went up to her locker, and punched it. The locker opened, but it wasn't a punch of aid. It was meant to get the door stuck even more. Right after the lame attempt to punch in the locker, they bashed their heads together, and said, "TNT rules!". I must say, those were the oddest bullies, I've ever seen. I decided to step around them, and towards my locker.

I had always gone to Pleasentville High, i was well respected there. I noticed a fit new girl getting hasseled by Gary and Tom, that wouldnt do. I went up behind Gary, the thinner of the two, grabbed his head and smashed it against Tom's. Tom fell to the floor and Gary ran off, i chose to ignore Tom lying on the floor and talk to the new girl. When a male voise said to me "Who are those guys?", he was obviously new too as he didnt know Gary and Tom. I replied "Just a pair of wankers."

I Turned to the new girl, "you ok?" "yeah, whats your name cutie?" she said. "Jimmy," i replied "And you?". "Biana" The new guy moved away from his locker and walked off towards the toilets opposite us. "What you doin' tonite? Wanna go some place with me?" I asked. Biana said ".............

Biana watched the two large fellows that had approached her locker, nodded as if in thanks for them opening her locker, and turned back to place her bookbag inside.

"What wrong, not going to say anything?" Tim asked.

"I don't feel the need to speak," Biana replied coldly.

"Hey man, I think this chick is getting an attitude with us," Travis spoke, taking a step nearer to Biana. She looked over at him as she shut her locker, holding a five subject notebook, a pen, and her list of classes. She gave him a threatening leer, as if warning him not to touch her.

Tim laughed, "Ah, the little girl thinks she can fight with the big boys!"

Travis joined in, "Let's teach her a lesson, bro..."

They both approached Biana.

I cricked my neck. I had the sudden urge to side-kick the chubby duo. I let instinct get the best of me, as the pair flew across the hall, and into a wall. They both had shocked expressions on their faces. They didn't know it was me, I went too fast for anyone to think it was me. However, as turn of events would have it, I think the pretty girl noticed. This was not good, she'll think I'm a freak, or something. She caught me looking at her, so I casually walked away to class, as if nothing happened. NOTHING happened. Nothing to see here, just a boy who was supposedly caught being super fast by a very pretty girl. Nothing more. I really hoped that she will think that she was just seeing things, and disregard everything she has just seen. I hoped.

"Heh! Serves you right you oversized brainless apes!" Merton yells out towards the witless wonders, Tim and Travis. He knew they wouldn't take the insult with good humour, and he was already prepared to run for dear life. On an impulse, Merton made a few hand gestures to add insult to injury.

"Come on ya big apes! Or can't you figure out how to move those legs!? Can't get up? Hehehe!" He started laughing at them, pointing at them with obvious glee. What he failed to notice, however, was the wall he'd absently backed up against. The brother came running at him, Merton made a small squeak of surprise, then struggled as Travis held him up by the shirt. "Eep!!"

Biana watched as the casual new guy wandered off, then turned her gaze upon the pale stranger mocking TNT. She couldn't help but let an amused smile cross her lips; this guy had probably been saving up the insults to these two since he got daily swirlies in the first grade. She laughed softly to herself.

Next thing Biana knew, Travis had hold of Merton by the shirt, pinning him up against the wall. She took a few steps forward, then tapped the big guy on the shoulder.

"What?" he asked in an annoyed voice, paying half a mind to her. He glanced back.

Biana couldn't help but act the way she did. She had reached out with her right hand, clawing clear across the boy's face in a brutal manner. The four rows were deeply gouged; it was obvious he would forever bear scars. He dropped Merton, and stumbled back.

"You!" Tim yelled, pointing at Biana and shaking his hand. "Look what you've done!" he squeeled.

Biana took hold of his finger in her hand gently, using her other arm to craddle her notebook and things. She looked him straight in the eyes. "I'm only going to tell you this once," she spoke softly, almost too soft to hear. "Never point your finger at crazy people!" With that, she skillfully twisted her wrist, snapping the boy's finger. Then she kicked him back into the wall.

Biana gently brushed her long raven hair back, tucking her jaw-length bangs from her eyes. She looked back to Merton, who was standing in silence. "You alright?" she asked.

I couldn't help, but look at what the pretty one did to the two. It seemed to me that those two have finally learnt their lesson. Now TNT didn't rule. She looked back, and saw me glancing at her. I quickly turned my head, and pretended like I saw nothing. It seemed to me like she didn't need the, "kick-start", in the first place.

Merton just stood there, trembling. This new girl had just single-handedly beaten up TNT, and then she asked him how _he_ was? Merton was torn between running away or talking to this girl. He chose to talk, his legs were too frozen to move anyway.

"Uh... I'm alright, yeah. Thanks, you saved me!" He couldn't help but feel how stupid it was to say that, a sudden urge mto step on his own foot developed. "I'm Merton, those guys were Tim and Travis, or TNT as they like to be called. It's nice to meet you.. Your name?"

Merton stepped over the groaning and whimpering forms of TNT, looking back at the new girl and the grace she carried herself with. He made sure not to look too long. "Do you want a guide around the school?"

"My name's Biana Namir," the girl smiled brightly. As the spikey-haired goth offered her a tour, she gladly accepted.

Just as the two began to walk away from the scene, the boy suddenly began speaking. "Oh, and my name's Merton. Merton J. Dingle." he smiled broadly, as if his name alone would charm her into loving him forever. She couldn't help but let a small smirk cross her lips at his efforts.

They had only walked a couple of feet before Biana turned back to look upon TNT. The two were recovering, slowly getting to their feet. They looked pissed.

"Touch Merton," Biana spoke sternly, "and I'll remove your faces next time..."

Biana gave a mock-charming smile, looking back to Merton. "Okay...the tour. This school isn't big, is it?"

Merton backed away a little as TNT got to their feet, he expected another fight, with him to be the victim once again. He didn't expect Biana to speak up in his defense, the whole thought of it confused him. Why would she want to protect him anyway?

"Big? Oh yes, it's very big, but I know every little bit of it very well. And especially when to avoid certain places, like the science labs.." He recalled the accident that happened there a short while ago with cold dread. "Where do you think we should start?" It was obvious that Merton wanted to put some distance between himself and TNT.

"Hmm... It really doesn't matter that much to me. I'm going to have to see the whole place anyway, aren't I?"

Biana smiled broadly; she was happy to find someone that was so obviously outcasted as herself. Maybe she wasn't going to hate Pleasantville as must as she had expected...

"Do you think after school...that you could show me around town a little? Surely I could take you out somewhere as a thanks for being my guide..."

"Yeah, you should be glad that you didn't get the tour the school gives. I didn't think someone could talk about one class for so long."

After... School? Merton tried not to look too eager for the idea, but he failed. "I'd love to show you around the town! There are so many places to go to, but we'll work that out later." Merton smiled, hoping he had the same classes to go to as Biana. He pointed down the hall.

"Okay, we have a lot of time before everything starts, so let's begin on the ground floor?"

"Sure."

Biana was glad her offer to take Merton on a date was accepted, although she wasn't sure if he had accepted it as a "date-date" or a "two-friends-hanging-out-date". It didn't matter, really; she was just looking forward to spending time with him.

Biana looked over to Merton as he began pointing out classrooms and telling her the brief stories of each horrible teacher. Very few of the words actually sunk in... Biana was too busy concentrating on the boy's lip; they looked so soft, so tender and innocent.

Merton laughed at one of his jokes. Biana smiled, even though she was unsure what was said. She focused her piercing green eyes on Merton's, taking in the rich storm blue-grey color.

"Enticing..." she thought to herself. She could've stared into those eyes forever.

Biana and Merton shared that brief moment of eye contact, Biana giving a light, gentle smile. Finally she tore her eyes away, pointing to the next classroom. "What about that teacher?" she asked. "Mrs..." she read the door, hoping he hadn't already explained that one, "Bates? Good teacher? Bad?"

As Biana looked back to Merton for her reply, she realized she had slipped her hand into his. She must've done it during the eye-lock...or perhaps directly after. Anyway about it, she didn't remember the action, but it was definately there.

Merton's eyes lit up with a savage gleam upon the mention of Mrs.Bates' name. The first class he ever took in the school was of hers, a maths lesson. He'd turned up a minute late for the class, having to knock then enter the room. Upon doing so, she'd made him sit at the front desk and answer question upon question. The fact that Merton, as usual, got all the questions correct only made her more annoyed.

"Bad teacher. Very, very ba.." He never got to finish what he was saying when they made eye contact. He was suddenly aware of a soft touch against his hand, one that was totally new to him. Merton gave Biana's hand a squeeze, smiling back at her.

Merton turned her hand delicately until the palm faced upwards, placing his other hand on top. "It's a pity we can't just skip classes and get straight to looking around town. Do you have anything in mind you'd particularly like to see?"

He was still looking into her eyes, he knew that, so why couldn't he look away? "Beautiful..." He whispered under his breath, barely aware of even saying it.

"Hmm... Perhaps the Pleasantville Werewolf." Biana laughed softly. She had heard stories of the Lycantherope while living elsewhere, and she had always wondered if the werewolf really existed.

Biana smiled and looked to Merton, who seemed to freeze awkwardly at the mentioning of the beast. "...Merton, are you alright?" she asked gently, looking him over with concern.

Merton froze completely from the mention of the werewolf. Stories had certainly spread since the rumor began. His gaze flickered nervously from one side of the hall, then to the other. Merton finally looked up.

"I-I'm fine. I just have a thing.. About.. Werewolves, you see." His mind was working furiously for an explanation, he gladly took the first one that presented itself. "My Father always told stories of werewolves that would come get me and my sister if we were bad. I guess I can never really shake off a nervous feeling..."

He was never good at making things sound convincing, he just hoped that she didn't ask anymore questions.

"Oh, you poor thing," she smiled. "My parents used to tell me that huma--" she paused, "that aliens dressed as humans would come and put me in one of their science labs if I misbehaved. I think I've gotten over that fear, though."

Biana continued walking with Merton down the hall. "So do you actually believe in werewolves? And if so, do you believe in other lycantheropes, such as weretigers, werebats, were-whatevers?"

"Oh yeah! I do believe in werewolves, weretigers and just about anything supernatural. I read a lot about that kind've thing. It's my foremost hobby." Merton concludes brightly, noticing that even while walking down the hallway. Noone had ever done that before, he was overjoyed.

"How about you, Biana? Do you believe in that kind of thing?"

"Yes, I do," Biana stated softly. "I know a couple, actually..."

Biana sighed. "Unfortunately... I'm so far away from where I was raised... I'm just so alone here."
