Yup, pretty much this. And let’s be honest, we all like to wear nice bras but the nice ones are never really the good ones so we’re just damaging our backs one bra at a time anyway. My older sister had to get a reduction at 18 because of back and shoulder pain. Yea, there is.
I’m a D. My younger self always wanted to be smaller because there are so many disadvantages of large breasts. Yes, some attention you get is nice but from a certain size upwards you don’t really get to decide whether you want any focus on them or not. They’re there and you can’t just take them off. So it always looks like you’re presenting them, even when that’s not the intention. Also, media has taught people to be all like “the bigger the better” but the fashion industry doesn’t really take them into account, so finding tops that fit well in all places isn’t so easy and there’s lots of money spent on alterations.
Nowadays I don’t mind so much anymore, me and my boobies are happy with each other. But I’m starting to feel the back pain and that’s a new problem.
