Big Fish

I watched this flick sometimes when it hit the DVD-shelves. I wasn't too impressed with it which was probably due to the fact that I didn't know what to expect of it.

Now I have this 'Tim Burton'-seminar and I have to prepare a report on it. After having watched it three times again now, I L O V E this movie. I hate myself for not acknowledging what it was back then. But I seldom have seen such a wonderful, powerful, moving, hilarious, witty movie. Great effort by Tim, crew and the actors.

It's easily now one of my favourites I guess. And i'll go grab the DVD soon.

Any other people out there who love this movie? What part do you like best?

I used to like Tim Burton alot. He was on my "no questions asked just see everything he does" list... until Planet of the Apes. So I waited until DVD for this one too.

I liked it, but I felt that it was just a little off. Like timing on a joke or something. I thought it could have been really, really good, but I couldn't place my finger on what/why.

Still, I'm hard to please, and while some things take a second swipe to get, I still hold that against the author/director.
