Why? He should resign and spend what remains of his life relaxing and not worrying about anything. This helps the party and Kamala as well as possibly extending his lifespan by eliminating the stress.

Go back to when Clinton was impeached. Back when Impeachment actually meant something. Had the party gently ushered him out, as I contend they’ve done with Biden here, then Gore would have had some time as POTUS. Would have gone into ‘00 as a sitting incumbent and I’ve long thought, would have possibly been in a better position to continue the legacy of the Clinton’s and possibly been elected.

If Biden passes the torch now, gives Harris some time, limited as it is, then maybe she has a better chance, doesn’t face an open convention, as she probably will. Especially if Obama isn’t throwing his support behind her.

There have been whispers for years of who is sucking all the O2 out of the room, Clinton, or Obama, and guiding the party. I guess we’ll see over the next four months.
