I guess I'm a bit bi curious.

I have a little experience in this area and have tried all the venues you mention for meeting guys. I have had the most success on this site as well as Craigslist. That is not to say I haven't run into some "posers" or that gay bars are completely off limits. But, for the most part, you can converse with someone here and get to know them better than you would if you met in a bar.
It takes time to find the right person, just don't don't do anything risky too soon.
