Beyond Time (closed)

Ashien didn't linger too long, not allowing her to get even close to any kind of release before he pulled away and took a firm hold of her hips, lifting her up and turning her onto her hands and knees. His own lust wouldn't let him wait much longer and this was a position they'd rarely shared in. He unfastened his belt and unbuttoned his trousers before sinking deep into her core from behind with a long, soft moan of his own. His hands caressed her hips and thighs and he started the slow, rhythmic thrusts she'd come to expect of a man who liked to take his time.

Dylan let out a gasp as Ashien gripped her hips and flipped her onto her hands and knees. Her back arched, her fingers gripping the sheets beneath her. He had never wanted to take her like this before, but she felt a sudden spike of lust that traveled up her spine.

"Oh God!" She cried out as he suddenly sank into her from behind, thrusting with slow thrusts that drew out the moment between them. "Ash...God, you feel so good."

Ashien had enjoyed her open show of pleasure far too much ever since their first time together, and he was enjoying this particular new show especially. Keeping one hand on her hip, the other traveled beneath her and up her belly to cup and caress a soft breast while his kisses skimmed across her lovely shoulders and back. The slow but constant and unyielding motion of his hips rocked her body in a perfect rhythm and he was only just getting started.

Dylan bucked beneath Ashien as his hand smoothed over her skin, his hand caressing her breast and squeezing it until she let out a gasp and then a low moan. Ashien knew exactly what she needed when it came to making love. His lips traveled over her shoulders and back, loving her slowly and completely. She had never had another lover that paid that much attention to her while in bed. She could have stayed in bed with him for the rest of time.

Ashien drew her up slowly against his chest, nipping at her ear as he murmured sweet nothings to her, never letting up. He told her in the most lust-filled way how he adored her and how he would satisfy her any way she liked. He was lost in loving her and she could hear it in the dreamlike tone of his voice.

The deep, dark growl against her ear made her shiver. Dylan whimpered as that soft Scottish accent came through, promising her anything that she wanted. She never doubted that he loved her completely. She could never doubt it. He loved her with the way he spoke, the way he touched, the way he looked at her.

"Ashien." She whimpered, turning her head to capture the lips that were tormenting her neck and shoulders.

When their lips parted, Ashien grinned down at her and murmured, "I'm not going to last much longer, my love..." Even so, he picked up the pace a bit and let out a clear and unadulterated groan of pure pleasure.

Dylan let out a gasp as his words, his pace picking up as he groaned. She couldn't hold on much longer herself and soon she was letting out a sharp cry, her hips bucking against his own. She came for him in an instant, the force of it quaking her to the very core.

Ashien reveled in her release, but didn't let it distract him from pulling away before his own struck him just as hard. He practically collapsed beside her and drew her into his arms to kiss her and murmur his thanks and praise and love. They'd both needed that, it seemed.

Dylan loved being in his arms and the smile on her features was absolutely luminous. She had missed this since he had been so busy, but as the lover of a soldier, she knew that there would be many long weeks and months ahead of them.

"You hide your accent from me too often, Ash." She murmured softly. "I like hearing that deep, rumbling Scottish accent against my ear."

Ashien relaxed at her side, meeting her eyes and stroking his fingers through her long blonde hair with an absent smile. "Y'come from a strange time, an English lass wantin' t'hear a Scottish accent."

"Of course I want to hear it. It's the best part of you." She murmured as he stroked his fingers through her hair. "Anything from you is special and shouldn't be hidden."

"Hmm... Only special occasions, then. Wouldn' want ya t'get bored with it," he grinned before stealing another kiss.

The night Henry returned, Ashien, John, Elizabeth, and Dylandra all went to the English palace to meet him. The moment they arrived in the courtyard, Henry appeared in the doorway and hurried out to meet his beloved daughter. He limped a fair bit from the arrow wound in his thigh that he'd told her about in his letter, but it couldn't stop him.

Elizabeth darted from John's side, her hair a curtain of red behind her as she raced to her father's arms. She was so incredibly close to him, especially after her mother's death. She could never imagine a life without him being there. The moment that her arms wrapped around him, she burst into tears, telling him how much she missed him while he was gone.

Henry wrapped Elizabeth up in a tight embrace, pressing a kiss to the top of her head before he murmured, "Sweetheart... God, am I glad to be back." He lifted her head, looking down with a broad smile. "What are the tears for, my love?" But he didn't realize he had tears running down his own cheeks. Normally he would never have cried even in private until after his wife died. After that, he'd always wept openly for joy or sadness as his wife once had, having been a woman who was very open about her emotions and the things that hurt or made her happy.

"Because I missed you so much." Elizabeth murmured as she reached up a hand to dry his tears. "And I can see you missed me just as much. Papa, I worry each time you go off to war. I'll always worry about you, even when I'm old and grey."

Henry could only hug her close once more before he looked to the others approaching. "Thank you all for taking her in while I was away... I heard rumors of some possible spies in my palace and I didn't dare speak of it, but I couldn't let her stay here while I was away."

Ashien smiled, an arm looped around Dylandra, "Of course, Henry."

"And John... thank you, my friend," Henry reached out to shake John's hand.

"Uh... anytime, sir, but... I didn't really do anything," John stuttered over his words, still nervous to be in the presence of a king.

Dylan watched the scene in front of her, laughing softly as Ashien wrapped his arm around her shoulder and John seemed to be unsure of what he should say to the king of England. He looked so incredibly nervous to even be in the same room as him. She was about to open her mouth to say something when something incredibly strange happened.

Before she could take a breath, it felt as if she had been hit square in the chest. She lost her breath, her eyes closing slightly in pain. When she opened her eyes again, she was in the middle of a ruined castle, birds chirping around her and everyone else gone. Glancing around the space, Dylan could hear the distant sound of cars driving by on a road.

"Ashien?" She murmured, looking around the space in a panic. "ASH!"

She turned to run through the archway of the ruins when the sensation came back, the same pain making her wince and when she opened her eyes again, she was back in Ashien's arms, his worried face looking down at her.

"What just happened?" She asked him in a breathless tone.

Everyone else had come to her side to help, and Ashien lifted a hand to her cheek. "You fainted, love," he murmured. She was sitting up in the grass and he was knelt down supporting her. "Perhaps a little too much excitement, or you didn't sleep last night." He scooped her up and Henry ushered them inside. John kept close behind Ashien just in case.

Dylan was so incredibly confused. She had fainted? But she hadn't felt like she fainted. She allowed Ash to scoop her into his arms, struggling to come to terms with what had happened. She wanted to ask him what had really happened, but she knew it was wise to keep that question to herself.

After they were all certain Dylan was alright, Ashien excused the two of them to go in a separate room to talk. He sat down with her and took her hands. Immediately, he whispered, "I think I've lost my mind, love..." He met her eyes and she could see a fear he'd kept hidden from the others. "I thought you disappeared... the others weren't looking so I don't know what really happened, but... To my eyes, you vanished. I couldn't feel you anymore." He was genuinely convinced he was going crazy.

"I did." Dylan said as he sat her down and took her hands, confessing to her that she had disappeared from his grasp. "When I opened my eyes, I was in the same spot but in my time. It was nothing but a ruin and I could hear the sounds of cars in the distance. Ashien, what happened?"

"I... I don't know," Ashien murmured, more alarmed by the fact that he actually wasn't crazy. "Maybe it was just some sort of oddity with the magicks that brought you here. It didn't seem to hurt you. It might be nothing dangerous... but we should talk to Van about it. He's the only one alive who knows how it works."

Dylan nodded, wrapping her arms around him tightly and hugging him. "I thought I lost you for a moment." She said softly, letting him know just how frightened she had been when she had opened her eyes in her own time without him there.

"You know not even time would come between us," Ashien whispered against her ear before pressing a kiss to her cheek. "I'd be lost without you."
