I find it curious that Lauren would move political threads to the GB, but leave death threats intact here in the AH. (Death threats are a violation of forum rule #6.) She definitely has an interesting sense of humor.

This so called death threat was not made on anyone here at the present time. As usual things are taken out of context and used as a weapon to beat someone else over the head with. The statement was made that someone would sneak up behind the other and slit their throat. But this was in relation to an end of the world survival conversation.

Stupid is, as stupid does, as usual.

Apparently in the AH, actual posted authors have privileges not extended to plebeians.

It would seem so, but I think this was a special case.

The person who started the 3 moved threads is on his second incarnation. His more familiar user name was banned after repeated warnings to stop posting the personal information of other members.

He is the kind of person who makes running a forum tedious and more work than it needs to be. I think the admins have been generous to let him post at all.

This was the first incarnation of le jaquelope that managed to stay within the bounds of AH civility, IMO. Mostly because AH civility has dwindled, of course, but I was wondering if he was trying to make an effort.

The General Board has many regular posters who enjoy playing cat and mouse with Lt/Lj. He wants everyone to see him as a wealthy altruistic populist, but even his most plausible stories are ruined by completely implausible details.

When people point this out to him, he goes into paranoid meltdowns. He never posted the incredible personal tales on the AH, so this forum was spared the worst(or best, if you like cheap entertainment) of it.
