Being transgender and pansexual, I'll throw an early suggestion in for transgender people. I think we're good at embracing and espousing duality, so we tend to connect with people first, then quibble over labels later. :)

I gave Men the vote, although the reasoning is that I believe most men are situationally bi, where as TG's are likely to be more geared towards a specific persuasion.

That's just my guess though, I probably should have voted that I have no idea!

id say probably not transgender people as apparently we only make up 0.6% of the worlds population.

i guess it depends if it’s as a % of the overall number of men/women/trans people, or the actual numbers of those people who are bisexual.

defo agree with your comment that we tend to connect with people first, then quibble over labels later :)

I’d say women by quite a long way

In my experience a high percentage of women enjoy embracing their bisexuality. Some are open about it but many more are fairly secretive about their bisexual side

which do you think would have the most bisexual people and why?

If we're talking total numbers, no way it can be transgender since that's 1.5% of the population.

If we're talking percentages, the old school numbers say 7% of men are gay and 3% of women, which would stand to reason that men would also be bisexual at about twice the rate, but less open or obvious about it since bisexuality and pansexuality in men is still socially frowned upon while the same is kind of applauded for women.

I know it's just anecdotal, but almost all of the trans people I know, men and women, are straight, but that's probably just because most people are and trans people are no different.

Total number of actually bi people, I'm going to say men. Total number of people who actively identify and live their lives that way, it's gotta be women.

The stats suggest more women identify as bi 0.9% against 0.4% for men in the US population.

Another survey in the US records LGBT as 4.5% in 2017, but that's a thing that has always bothered me. Being T should not be considered alongside those stats, because being transgender is not about sexuality. The same survey shows 5.1% or women as LGBT against 3.9% of men.

I think trans and women are more likely to be honest about their sexuality. Too many men struggle with the macho thing and MeNoHomo so even if they've touch another dudes dick - that doesn't make them gay, right?!

"Total number of actually bi people, I'm going to say men" - if all it takes to identify sexuality is identifying that which thou uses to get your rocks off. And that's about as foolish as carving out a sexuality for a man that would rather masturbate, and then granting him the label "bisexual" because he also finds women attractive.

"Total number of people who actively identify and live their lives that way, it's gotta be women" - DEFINITELY.

The "Bitter" Truth is that men jerk off too often to define their sexuality via that which they sleep with. To a man, it's most often non other than a question of power, a need to conquer. That is most often all he wants to do, even when a woman believes she has driven him crazy with lust. Thus, the infinitely greater number of men that are ready to rape a man, even when they claim AND are heterosexual - infinitely (I repeat) greater than the number of would-have-been rapist women that will even THINK of raping a woman, even when they are definitely lesbian.
