We talk about board drama as if it's what makes this place interesting, but it's pretty uncomfortable while it's happening.
Neither - intrigued was the best.
Certainly near the top. The entire BratCat/KidRock thing wasn't too shabby either.
Ishmael
These kids with their "drama". The name Alexandraaah means nothing to them.
I think unless you knew or observed the characters in real time, anything before one's time is kind of uninteresting.
At some point it's not even the characters and what they said that are interesting, it's the bizarre stories. Some guy solicited an actress' services to convince a message board that he was a young woman...for years?
Some people shared a troll ID to post their "friend's" secrets on the board, and ultimately turned on each other?
Ass cancer is a real thing?

A woman(?) had a vanity pictures thread for years, and one day the real woman in the pictures shows up.
A woman announces, at Christmas time, that she has stopped taking her meds and will not live through the night. Some people freak out and try to make contacts with her, while disbelievers mock her. It turns out to be an attention seeking stunt. Some time later, she actually dies. No one much cares.
A black man posts a number of photos of himself having sex with white women. A congenital idiot gets upsetting tracks the origin of the pictures to the the server at the man's job. The man loses his employment and hilarity ensues.
Oh please, why such a low number?

Gawd, I didnt even remember posting in that one.
I'm not even sure I want to read that again.![]()
Let me know if it's worth the read. That happened a year before I showed up on the Lit scene.
This thread is a perfect example of how making Lit the focal point of your life is a bad idea.
For some people.
You know. The crazy ones.

It probably should be required reading, at least once. But if you just want a good summary ...
Oh, its definitely worth a read.
The place used to be Packed with nutbars like her.
(I still think she blew lobito in the washroom.)
Honestly, while most Lit drama's vary in their characters and settings, they all have a common theme. An emotional conflict and a seedy plot. It's always "her word against his" (for lack of a better phrase) and a whole lot of opinions from people who were neither involved nor present.
What ever happened to factual, short and sweet? These long 20+ page drama's are exhausting to read and frustrating because you never really get to the bottom of them.
Thanks for the summary, Pookster!![]()
I figure that most folk have enough drama IRL.
I know I do.
