I've just submitted my first piece to literotica.. However, I'm desperate for some immediate comments so that I can get on with writing a follow up story as I don't want to feel bored with waiting for the 7 days to pass without seeing my story submitted..

Also, this first story is non-erotic, it's a buildup to the main story, I'd just like to get some general feedback on how I write, if you like it & want more... etc..

I only had to wait three days for all of my stories to post after I submitted them. Typically after you submit your story they will have something about it being close to 72 hours before the story will post or something. Why do you have to wait seven days?

You were lucky with your three days. The time taken varies a lot, connected with category and length and submission method and whether there is a contest on, and if so whether this is an entry.
